Monster from the deep
Always loved the movie Gorgo and to now have a scale model of the creature is pure joy. Wife thinks I'm nuts acting like a little boy but, it's fun and Happy modeling everyone. Get's the kids away from the Xbox for a little while and that is not a bad thing.

the price is too high for missing parts from sealed boxes.
parts were missing from sealed box and bag payed way to much for factory defect , the company is out of business.

Can finally add "Gorgo" to my model collection...a favorite movie monster of mine since childhood, "Gorgo" items are few and far inbetween....love this...thnak you Monarch...now how about "Konga"?

I was very happy with the box art
The GORGO kit is well engineered! Fit and finish are typical of most styrene plastic kits. The figure can be adapted to other bases as well and a conversion to a different scene from the movie has already surfaced in modeling magazines. Being a collector, I was very happy with the box art. It was done as a tribute to the Aurora kits of the 1960's. I hope that Monarch Models continues to introduce new and exciting kits of classic sci-fi and monsters to the marketplace.
