We used to mix bottles by hand and warm the water in a bottle warmer. Not only was that process inconsistent, but it took a long time... and with an infant that is hungry when they're hungry, it can be hard for them to wait the 10 minutes it takes to do it manually. After looking for a solution, the Baby Brezza has been a lifesaver! With the Brezza, we have bottles perfectly mixed at the perfect temperature in seconds. We never have to worry about making our little one wait for a bottle when hunger strikes. It's especially helpful when needing to make multiple bottles for daycare, which would take nearly an hour to do one bottle at a time by hand. The Brezza was incredibly easy to set up, and maintenance is quite simple. One struggle we had initially was the fact that the funnel needs to be cleaned and replaced after every 3-4 bottles. This can be rather tedious, as it can have some formula build up, and needs to be thoroughly scrubbed every time to remove the gunk. For that, I would recommend getting a second (or even third) funnel, so you always have one available and can take the time to clean in between feedings. However, that's just a minor convenience, as it ensures the funnel is clean and accurately dispensing the right amount of formula and water, which is the most important for our infant's safety and ensuring they get the nutrients they need! I usually clean it once the formula runs out, which amounts to about once a week for us currently. It's easy to take apart and clean. If you don't clean it regularly, it can start to clog consistently (almost every bottle or two), which blocks the formula from dispensing. And when it clogs, it is very sticky and can be difficult to clean off. That's the largest complaint I have, as it really impacts the amount of formula dispensed. However, regular cleanings can eliminate this issue. I find it takes about 20-30 minutes to disassemble, clean with a brush and soap, disinfect, and then reassemble. All in all, this is absolutely something a formula-feeding parent should have!

This is the single best invention ever made for parents that are bottle feeding their babies. As a heavy coffee drinker I absolutely love my coffee Keurig, so when I saw this I knew I needed to get this "Baby Keurig". It quickly and accurately creates a bottle with the press of a button. It is definitely a luxury purchase. It makes those midnight feedings just a bit more bearable. I had purchased the previous version in 2016 when my daughter was born. That version was great but had a few drawbacks. With this new updated version they have addressed the most glaring issues I had and I am so happy to upgrade. It is much easier to clean with more dishwasher safe parts, the formula selection is done through a button instead of physical switch, and the loading container is much easier to operate. If you are trying to decide on the older or newer version.....GET THE NEWER VERSION! Packaging - Mine was delivered without any issues and has a large amount of documentation included. I would highly suggest reading the manual as it includes some very useful information. Setup - This is very easy to use but it is critical that you set up the unit properly. There are various settings depending on what type of formula you use, so make sure to match up your brand with the chart before making any bottles. You also will need to set what temperature you want the water. I stuck with body temperature to have it be more natural for my child. Usage - Set the number of ounces needed (I love the new feature of 1 oz increments, huge improvement over the original version). Check the display for the clean icons. In order to keep the unit running well you HAVE TO CLEAN IT. If you skip cleaning or do not properly clean each part you will not get accurately mixed bottles. With the proper size selected and unit freshly cleaned then put your bottle below the spout and hit the "Start" button. Now you have a fresh bottle!!! So simple Cleaning & Maintenance - As stated you need to clean the spout and dispensing areas every 4 bottles. There will be an icon displayed and it will prevent dispensing until you remove it to clean. This is so essential to having a properly running unit. I found it very easy to stay on top of the regular cleaning. I would also suggest cleaning the formula canister and water reservoir at least weekly. I have a reminder set for every Saturday. I disassemble the unit and put all of the parts in the dishwasher to clean. Make sure to let the formula canister thoroughly dry before reassembly to prevent any formula from clumping. BOTTOM LINE - This formula dispensing machine is great. It is a luxury item that simplifies an annoying part of having a baby. It is convenient in the middle of the day but a lifesaver at night. It is easy to use but it does require continual cleaning. I highly suggest this product and am very happy with my purchase. It makes my life so much easier — I can prepare a perfectly mixed, warm bottle within seconds of my baby getting fussy. I exclusively formula feed my baby and I was getting tired of making bottles one-handed in the middle of the night and spilling formula everywhere then comforting a crying baby while we waited for the bottle to warm. This product is amazing! The bottle comes out warm and just needs a few shakes before it's ready to go! I also love how customizable it is for each feeding. You can change the temperature and the amount every single time with ease. The spout needs to be cleaned after every 4 bottles, which is not a big deal. It takes one minute and it's easy enough to do while holding a baby. I just make sure to do the cleaning before I go to bed so I don't have to worry about it overnight. When I bought this product, I saw some reviews saying that it doesn't dispense the correct amount of formula and will under-feed your baby. That has not been my experience at all. I followed the setup instructions to select the setting on the machine for the formula I was using, and it produces bottles in the same volume as I do when hand-scooping. Overall, it's a huge time saver and stress reliever. It is definitely a luxury, but I absolutely love it and I wish I bought it sooner!

I’ve had 2 of these same model baby brezza formula pro advanced units, one bought in late 2022, and one bought in late 2024. The first one was for my first son who has been done with formula for a long time now. This first 2022 unit worked great and we never once had a problem with it. Unfortunately my wife threw out the 2022 unit because she’s nuts. Fast forward to baby #2… I buy the 2nd Baby Brezza because the first unit worked great and was very helpful. Received it- box and the unit physically looked the same as the original. Great… However I quickly browsed the instructions to see if I forgot anything and noticed it had a lot more instructions for cleaning it than the original one did and it now recommends cleaning both the funnel and the formula bin very often. Odd… maybe that’s nonsense and you don’t really need to do this. With the first one I just cleaned the funnel maybe every 8 or so uses and it was fine. I never once cleaned the formula bin. If you think about it this makes sense because the formula bin should only contain dry formula so why would you need to clean a plastic bin that contains dry formula? That would be like a formula manufacturer saying you need to remove the formula from the plastic package every so often and clean the package… makes no sense. We start using it and initially for the first month it’s mostly fine, but I noticed the funnel gets way dirtier much faster than the original one did. After around 1 month the whole thing basically just stops working completely and makes clicking noises when you try to make a bottle. I read the bin cleaning instructions and take everything apart and clean and dry everything, put it back together, and it works for maybe 4 bottles, then stops working again. I repeat the bin and funnel cleaning process, and it stops working again a few bottles later. This process repeats a few times and I eventually declare it dead. As an engineer I can give you a pretty good idea of what probably happened within the Baby Brezza company to cause this new problem which a lot of reviewers describe: CEO: “how could we potentially save 75 cents per unit manufacturing this thing?” Head of Product: “75 cents?! Pssshh! I bet I can bring it down a whole $1. Head of Engineering: “Well in the original prototype we didn’t have those components we later added to keep the formula bin totally dry. That solution solved a lot of problems for us but the parts cost us around an extra $1 per unit” Head of Product: ok, I want the drawings for these new units without the parts you mentioned by end of week. I’ll handle the documentation for the extra cleaning procedures we’ll need to include to cover ourselves on the extra dirty funnel and wet formula bin. CEO: Excellent work! Our valuation will be like a hockey stick this quarter!

UPDATE AFTER 10 MONTHS OF USE: This thing works perfectly! I have read all of the negative reviews and all of the people who claim this thing is going to kill your child and they're all just flat out wrong. We've been using the Baby Brezza Pro for 10 months now as the exclusive eat we fill each bottle. We use Similac Pro Advance formula and have followed the Brezza's instructions to the T to ensure it's mixing properly based on the the brand of formula we use. After 10 months, our newborn son is alive and doing very very well. He's always been right near 50th percentile for weight and our doctor always raves about how well our son is doing at every checkup. We've never had even the slightest concern that he isn't getting enough to eat. And this machine has saved us so much time. We mixed bottles by hand with our first two kids and so we opted to get this machine for our third kid and he's doing even better than our others did. So to any parents out there who are fearing for their children, you don't need to be worried. Just follow the instructions and you'll be so glad you bought this. Such a Time saver! ORIGINAL REVIEW AFTER 1 WEEK: Info on my testing if the Brezza mixing below. Scroll down to read more. OVERALL THOUGHTS: This Brezza is pretty amazing. I understand it's super "extra" since mixing the bottles by hand is pretty simple. But after just 3 nights with this thing, I'm already convinced it's well worth the $179 I paid for it. FORMULA MIXING TEST RESULTS: To those concerned about whether or not thing machine mixes formula in the correct proportions, let me set your mind at ease. I read lots of reviews that claimed to have been under-feeding their newborns because the Brezza wasn't mixing enough formula. That was obviously a concern for me as well. So I decided to buy it and then put some science to the test to see if there was a difference between me mixing it manually vs mixing it in the Brezza. I mixed 6 bottles of 2oz formula for our little one (he's just a week old) by hand. And then I had the Brezza mix 6 as well. I used a food scale to weigh the sets of bottles (after zeroing out the empty weight of the bottles themselves). And, after taking the averages of all those, I found that whether I did it manually or in the Brezza, the weight of the mixed formula was always an average of 2.36oz. It's a relief to know this machine is accurate! Because it's just so easy to use. WITH REGARDS TO CLEANING: Also, you DO have to clean a part of it after every 4 bottles. It's not hard though. The piece you have to clean comes out very easily and it only take 15 seconds or so to wash down in the sink. Then you pop it back in and you're good to go. There are some more parts you have to clean once a month and those are a bit more involved, but cleaning once a month isn't a big deal.

I’m not gonna lie, I thought this product was incredibly silly at first even after I had to stop breast-feeding and switch to formula due to health issues. But after mixing another bottle in the middle of the night while the baby cried, and I was trying to get it to be a decent temperature, I decided to take the plunge and purchase this product. I figured if we didn’t love it, we could always return it. My daughter’s father also thought at first that it was kind of an odd purchase, but after a few uses, we both agreed this was one of the best purchases I’ve made. The Baby Brezza has made our lives much easier and she always gets a bottle at the perfect temperature for her. She will drink ready to feed, but she loves a nice warm bottle with powdered formula, especially before bed. One thing I would recommend with this product is that you purchase one or two additional funnel pieces. The machine will let you know when it’s time to clean the funnel, clean the area up above the funnel, refill the water tank, etc. And having the additional funnels means that when one is dirty, you can easily just pop another in so you have time to clean the dirty funnel and let it dry. The funnels wash fine in the Momcozy bottle washer/dryer/sterilizer. To de-scale the machine, you do need to buy a bottle of baby Brezza de-scaler fluid, and it does seem to be one bottle per descaling, so I would say that is a little more expensive than the de-scaler we use for the bottle washer, but it is still a great product. I have considered buying the mini version of this for upstairs as well due to how wonderful this product has been. The only other negative I would note with this is that the machine does seem to come up a little bit more with Similac Sensitive. We did not have this problem with Similac 360 that was not the sensitive version, or Bobbie. I do have the machine on the recommended setting for Similac sensitive, but I may end up calling baby Brezza to see if they have any other recommendations on what I can do to limit this issue. It is very possible that it is just something with the formula itself as opposed to the machine.
