I had this reccomended to me at a wood store and was very please to find it on Amazon. Easy to use, great finished product!

I built a serving tray using walnut and maple. I really liked the look of the wood and wanted to maintain the natural look as much as possible. I used the Danish Oil and worked it into the wood in three applications. I lightly sanded it in with 220, 320, and 400 grit sandpaper as suggested by the Walrus Oil company. It turned out great. I like it, and my wife loves it.

Used this on raw wood (after a light sand) inside a giant French walnut armoire that was so faded and even a year later it looks amazing and is smooth and you can run your hands over the shelves without getting splinters. It soaks up quickly though and use a thick rag to rub it in. I’d definitely buy it again!

Outstanding brand of products. Leaves an outstanding finish that really highlights the wood without complications. Leaves the wood still actually feeling like wood, just much richer and "soft".Walrus products are like ranch dressing, goes good on everything and almost impossible to mess up.

So this oils looks great on the few types of wood I’ve tried it on. I put it on Oak and African Padauk hard woods in my projects. It dries quickly but does darken the color of the wood a little. Overall a very good product for the applications I use it for. Definitely worth the money.

Great stuff to work with as described to protect wood working projects. Does not have the same oil fumes as most stains and polyurethanes.

I've used their cutting board oil in the past and when looking to finish a nice walnut chest I made I decided to give this product a try. Pleased with the results. Goes on easy with no harsh smell and brings out the natural colors of the wood and grain. Darkens the wood up a little so expect that, but that's what I was looking for.
