Please note: as stated in product description, this boxed set will not play on American DVD players. Unfortunately, I failed to read that part before ordering, and now, since I opened the box, I cannot return for a refund. Not the sellers fault, but buyer beware.

Very interesting and original films.

I guess I am just an Ang Lee fan. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 movies including the one I had never seen before. The only thing that could have made this better would have been if it was a boxset of blurays!

Having only ever seen Eat Drink, Man Woman, the first two films have been a revelation. All senses are satisfied at the end of each. You feel as if you have been fully submerged in the lives of others and enriched because of it. There were the inevitable tears at the end of the final film. Loved it.

3 great movies, but extras are missing. I have previously purchased a copy of "Eat Drink Man Woman" which includes interviews with Ang Lee and James Schamus which definitely add a little extra to one's understanding of these three movies. If you can purchase the individual movies at a reasonable price, then that would be preferable to this budget release.
