Mementa Tea, Organic Oolong, 100-Count Tea Bags (Pack of 2)

Sometimes organic teas taste weaker than non-organics teas - but this organic oolong is not weak or diluted tasting. I can use one bag for a 14-15 oz. mug, and the taste is great. Very reasonably priced as well...but the taste impresses me most and I love that it is organic.

I don't normally write bad reviews, but this item is not returnable, so I thought I'd save some of you the trouble. I have been drinking herbal teas for many years, and especially love the smooth, clean, non-bitter taste of oolong. I am used to steeping some herbal teas for 30 minutes for medicinal purposes, but never oolong, which should be ready in 3-5 minutes.Cons:Each tea bag is wrapped in plastic vs. standard paper (what toxic chemicals are leaching in?)The tab was glued to 50% of the tea bags I opened, and ripped the tea bag open when trying to remove it.Quality of tea itself is not good...After steeping for 15 minutes, my cup of tea had no color and tasted like water2 tea bags steeped for 30 minutes gave a very light color and very mild flavor...too mildTea bags should be quick and convenient...this is notSome drink oolong to rev up metabolism...this tea is way too mild to reap any of those benefits, even w/2 tea bagsI have tried the Pier mall varieties and they are decent, but Prince of Peace is by far my favorite Organic oolong in a tea bag, and is less than 5 bucks per one hundred bags online. You can have a nice mild cup in 2 minutes, or a darker oolong in 5.

No string on bag. Taste not great. I tossed most of it away.

I'm a big oolong/wulong tea drinker. Good price, but the taste of this tea is just ok. Not my favorite. My service from Amazon was great, as usual.

It's a very nice flavor and smell, quality is obvious, but on the light side. I tried letting it brew for a LONG time, even with 2 bags I wish it was stronger (For comparison: I normally take a regular lipton at work, dip in water & mix just long enough for sugar to disappear, then throw out the bag.) I guess it's just meant to be light and light teas are not to my taste-bud's liking.

The tea is really great and I love having the large quantity. I will say though that the packaging isn't perfect so there are small tea crumbs everywhere inside the box and the individual packages sometimes are missing something. A few examples are a few tea bags dont have the easy rip part correct, will be partially open, or the little string will just fall right off. I dont really mind though, because as I said, I could throw away almost half of them and it would still be cheaper than buying in smaller quantities. So I would definitely recommend for other tea lovers :-)

I was hoping for better! The tea has a burnt flavor and is very weak. The odor is not at all what you expect from oolong. In fact, it is down right unpleasant. The bags are way smaller then most tea bags. Several bags are needed and a much longer steep time. The strings on each tea bag are not tied and just slide right off. The bags themselves do not absorb water well and do tend to float on top of the water. A little more effort is needed to get the steeping process started.I will not purchase this again!

I need to use 2 teabags and let it steep for 10 minutes to get any strength. In addition, the paper used in the teabag itself seems a tad water resistant. The specs sound great; the reality is a disappointment.
