This is extremely magnificent vitamin if you need vitamin D it really gives you a potent amount of vitamin D that helps you get back what you need in your body

I need a high dose D3 product periodically, as recommended by my doctor. This product is effective yet costs far less than the D3 I could get by prescription.

I absolutely love having high dose capsules. When I get sick I usually take 100k iu’s and continue with fairly high doses until my symptoms improve. That leaves me running through bottle of very expensive, lower dose D constantly, and it’s been a game changer not only for me, but for my whole family. I’ve seen a definitely improvement in our general immunity, as well as the turn around rate for our health in the cases we actually get sick. The capsules are also nice and small and easy to swallow! I purchased the Vitamin D3 50,000 from Forest Leaf because of the excellent reviews. I had run out of my prescription and needed a quick replacement. The vitamins arrived faster than my pharmacy ever refilled them. They did the job: smaller size, very easy to swallow; convenient, you only need to take it once a week; maintained my same level of activity, didn’t run down; slept well, kept the night sweats at bay. Excellent source of Vitamin d

Think that you ONLY need 5000 IU of vitamin D3 in the late fall and winter? Guess again! Sun exposure in the summer significantly boosts your body production of D3 and actually builds a surplus quantity that will last only a short while in the late fall as direct sunshine subsides. If you only get modest exposure to the sun in summer time there is no need to supplement. Winter time is a different story. Most folks in the northern hemisphere get virtually no exposure to sunshine in the winter. No supplement is absorbed 100% but this has enough D3 punch to help overcome vitamin D deficiencies most of us have. Get this stuff and use it and, like me, you, too, will be singing it's praises. So glad to have found this product. New update 2/4/2024: Vitamin D is a fat soluble nutrient and stores in the body fat cells. Vitamin D and calcium work together especially to nourish bone health. If you want to know what your Vit D levels are you can ask your Dr to order a lab test to check it. Also some medical labs will allow patrons to self order for a fee. If you need Vit D or just think you do then I highly recommend this product.

Update March, 2020 I have since gone to my primary physician, and my Vitamin D levels have increased. I am no longer at the deficiency level. Take into account, I have been taking this product since November. I am hoping to see higher levels in the future. I have also learned a valuable lesson. Make sure you take this product with food. I normally do, but was in a rush one morning. So I had taken it on an empty stomach. I had experienced a faint headache for the next four days. I just received my Vitamin D3 supplement and was disturbed by the dosage on the bottle pictured on this site, and the directed dosage on the bottle that I received two days ago. When you are dealing with 50,000IU, it is not to be taken lightly when you should be taking this product. This product is to be taken on a "weekly" basis, unless told differently by your doctor. I read a review where an individual took this, and didn't feel right until the next day. That is unacceptable. In reference to the absorbency, will check back later. Everyone's body is different. However, I will be tested for my Vitamin D level in three months. I will return and post the results.
