Not bad for the price. I made some modifications to make this item better. Added a high heat fireplace sealer/gasket at all connections to eliminate smoke from coming thru gaps & make it overall more secure & it works good. I also drilled a few holes to allow better air flow thru chimney.It works well now & it looks sharp. Only issue I had was the first fire was very smoky & had a toxic smell. I assume this was the paint finish being heated for the first time. I loaded it with wood & let it get good & hot then went inside. The fumes were unbearable, but after that first burn it has been fine. Assembly was easy, but I recommend the sealant! Just black fireplace caulk & it made all the difference. Good luck

If you want to purchase something that is going to last this is not your item. With that said I just ordered our second one. Our first one rusted out after being outside for two years in the harsh New England weather. Why did I order another? Because for the price point it is well worth it. It produces a nice fire and gives off heat! It is light weight and can be moved for mowing and if we had wanted to, could have brought it in during the winter (which would have increased its life) I shopped for other types of fireplaces, but in the end decided that we loved this while it lasted and for $170 we could afford to replace it every few years.

One of the most rinky dink assemblies I have ever seen. Not worth the money. More for decoration that anything else. I was sitting in my backyard during a windy day and I could see the chimney swaying in the wind. I would have sent it back for a refund but it is packed up in a box and once unpacked and assembled i knew it would be more trouble than it was worth. I wish I had read the reviews prior to buying. Save your money!!!

First off, I sent this back and have nothing but good things to say about the manufacture. They paid for return shipping and gave me no issues at all. I wasn't happy with how each part is screwed together with wing nuts, therefore it is a bit shaky. The second issue was the welding and space between the chimney joints. Smoke pours out of each and every gap. The back is spot welded so there is plenty of space for the smoke to come out of the base. The three chimney segments are also just held together with wing nuts and a bolt so smoke also escapes between each joint.

This product looks great but doesn't deliver the promise. The chiminea is made of fairly thin gauge sheet metal. I have only had it for a few weeks and lit three or four fires in it but it is already showing signs of rust. It works okay but I doubt it will last a year so I would not recommend that you waste your money on one. Buy a cast aluminum chiminea, which is what I should have done in the first place and what I'll do when I heave this piece of sheet metal to the curb.

I simply love this item, but sadly to say it has started rusting right away. We love it otherwise, but hope that it lasts. Very happy with the delivery, because it arrived quickly.

The picture as well as the description is VERY misleading. Upon un packaging I noticed the top vent cover weld was broken as well as severely bent. The packaging picture of the contents did not match the actual items in the box. I gave this as a graduation gift and was nothing short of totally embarrassed. I assembled it so she and her friends could TRY to enjoy it. With that in mind I can't see how it could be returned. If this is an example of the type of items you advertise I will not recommend to anyone. I would however like to hear your response.
