I like carrying various gear in pockets instead of my pack while hiking. Phone, camera lens adapters, snacks, etc. This vest is really good for those spring and fall hikes in Texas. LOTS of pockets, material is thick enough to give light protection against bugs and plants, but not so heavy it fails to breathe.Pockets are decently stitched and roomy, capable of holding even larger handheld radios, paracord, and small equipment with ease. The zippers work great. I do like that 2 of the interior pockets open vertically, allow ease of access.I would not recommend this vest for colder weather, as it would provide virtually no insulation at all against the cold.Overall, decent price for a decent light vest.

Low price but well made. Has just the right amount of pockets for supplies and tools. Size of vest is as advertised. Definitely recommend this product.

I was looking to replace a vest I bought several years ago. This is great as I like lots of pockets. I only with that the material was a little more heavy duty. But I’m happy with it for the price.

This vest does run small, like most of the reviews suggested. I ordered a 2XL when I normally wear an XL. It fit OK but I returned it because the color was incorrect. I ordered the beige color and what I received was decidedly greenish. It was closer to olive drab and I already have an olive drab vest. I did not reorder this vest because, while it has lots of pockets, the pockets are not very deep. Also, the zipper is on the wrong side for men. Not a big deal but it should be noted. If the color was correct I might have kept it.

Vest material is good and put together well. fresh out of the package the material is little stiff and will blead the color onto your hands or any moist surface. I recommend the first thing after checking the fit is to wash it well in Warm water and soap. Be careful to wash only with other items of similar or darker color. That seems to have stopped the color transfer. I also noticed NO shrinkage.
