Great way to keep the kids engaged
This is a great tool to keep children engaged. I highly recommend laminating the pages. So that you're able to use them repeatedly.

Ok, better for classroom teachers than HSers with a few kids.
There is no way to play the games and NOT make copies. I bought it just for my two kiddos, and I thought I would be able to just cut up the book, but it is set up for classroom use, so there is printing on each side, and you have to copy to be able to play. Perfect if you have 20+ students, a pain in the bum when you have 2.

Great buy!
Loved this book. Used it in centers ran by a parent. The students loved playing bingo while they practiced their reading. Used it with kinder during the second semester.

Quick and easy word family reinforcement
As a new reading specialist, I was looking for a few quick games to reinforce the word families. My first graders love it. The bingo ladders are all created and ready for copying, and there are blanks provided if you work with more than 6 students at a time. Although some of the vowels needed more practice (not as much with some of the i and o word families), this is a wonderful, easy resource. It also works well for a quick mini-assessment since the ladders have the words in different order...perfect for going around the table and having each child read his/her bingo ladder. While primarily a first grade resource, this works for early 2nd grade readers too!

Not in Color and You Have to Hand Cut out Each Chart after Your Photocopy it as the Sheets are All Double Sided.
The product is similar to what is shown although the book is totally in black and white (no colors as shown on the cover) and the cards do not pop out as I thought they would - but this is likely me browsing and buying based on the visual appearance shown rather than reading the information included in the description (?)...you have to photocopy the pages in order for the game to work because the pages are all two sided and you would not have the cards for the kids to play bingo on and the callers cards unless you photocopied them...and this means they all have to be hand cut out too - I wish they were punch out pieces and in color like the image on the front led me to believe. I am disappointed but I expected a lot from the product.
