Close to Perfect?
Despite being relatively compact, the bag comfortably carries the D4 and Df together with the holy trinity plus 1.4x converter, as well as room for filters, battery chargers and spares. 13' MacBook Pro fits perfectly. I also own the medium size version of the same bag which will carry the above as well as 200-500mm Nikkor. Only regrets with this bag would be (1) lack of weather proofing seal on the zippers (which the medium bag has), and (2) no zip around cover on the rear of bag to hideaway the carrying straps - this is useful for carrying on board aircraft and makes the bag less bulky - again this is included on the medium bag. All that being said, for the current price this bag represents excellent value for money and comes very close to being the perfect every day bag, especially given the restrictions imposed by airlines on baggage size and weight. I expect to use mine over many thousands of miles of travel - hiking road, sea and air, and have no reason to think that it won't last for many many years, as the build quality seems to be very good.

Awesome bag for a pro
I am a pro photographer & struggled with bags holding enough equipment for me. I need all of my equipment with me when I do shoots and weddings- this bad is very big, very well made and has sensible slots to carry everything I own. I have a Canon 5dm3, Canon 5dM2, 100m macro, 70 to 200 lens, 24 to 7 lens, a 15mm fisheye and a external flash unity 580EX (with Gary Fong diffuser attached). I can carry all of this with ease now, along with a big cleaning kit, memory cards, batteries for my flash and business cards. Actually, I have room left over with this bag.I was comparing this bag with Tamarac bags and I was surprised how little room the Tamarac had. I could barely get 1 camera in with 3 lenses. That wasn't going to work for me as a pro shooter.Added bonus- I love the rain pouch it comes with- very handy.Great quality bag- very well made.I recommend it 100%

Bad design makes it way too big for a carry-on
This bag suffers from some serious design flaws that compromise its usability. Specifically:* There's a hard plastic box that surrounds the area with the T-handle, which means the straps can't use the space on either side of the handle, but rather stick out past it.* The laptop pouch doesn't unzip far enough to easily remove your laptop without putting a strap under it.* The laptop pouch also does not compress easily when empty, thanks in large part to the hard plastic bottom being much too tall.* The T handle is too short, which combined with the low center of gravity means it flips over sideways at the slightest bump (and this is coming from a short person—even worse if you're tall).* The wheels abrade easily, so if you get tree droppings caught in them, you'll wear flat spots... and the wheels do not appear to be readily removable. All in all, the poor design means that you get only about five or six inches of camera compartment height in a bag that is eleven inches thick. After the fifth time nearly having to gate check it (this time on a 737 in first class!), I'm looking for alternatives. Enough is enough.

There's no perfect bag. Accept it
There's no perfect bag. Accept it. This awesome bag got a wee bit too small as I acquired all my lenses. But tight is good. Empty space on a too large bag isn't so good. First, it doesn't scream camera backpack. All the quality and features are there. My one gripe is the moveable compartment dividers are narrow and thin again to save space I presume. It fits under an airline seat, a big plus. Great bag I just need about 1 inch wider and one inch longer to be my perfect, so far, bag. It's all about the fit.

Great bag for standard cameras
Great bag, comfortable, tough, lots of spacing on the inside. The only problem is that it wont hold a camera with a battery grip or a D5 or 1D. Other than that, excellent bag. Love it

The backpack isn't quite as nice as the large version
The backpack isn't quite as nice as the large version. The zippers aren't as nice with the rain covers/not as many features but overall the bag is mostly the same as the bigger one. We bought it for when we know we will be on smaller planes and the other backpack might be too big (sometimes puddle jumpers won't allow the bigger one due to size). Same nice inserts for your camera and still holds one or two bodies plus a few lenses.

Perfection!!!
I have been looking for a small DSLR backpack for a while. I have other Tenba products and lover their high quality. After looking at dozens of other backpacks I stumbled across this one. Had all the features I was looking for. Compact but roomy, very well made. This is a discontinued item so get it while they last.

Bang for your Buck
I'm absolutely addicted to these backpacks. I had bought one years ago, and it finally decided to die on me. It put in its work though, even traveling across the world with me. This new one is even better than the last. It's so lightweight. I can barely believe that I have several lenses, camera bodies, flashes, hard drives all in there.
