Fannie May Dark Chocolate Vanilla Buttercreams (6.5 oz. box)

This isn't the box you get from Fannie May. It is only 6.5 ounces. It says that. I didn't read it because I thought I was getting the usual serving of 16 ounces. Who knew they made such a small box selling for the same price?

Sorry but I have to rate this no stars at all as your rating chart made me pick a star before I could submit this. The chocolate came melted into one big block. At some point in its journey, it had chilled all together. A lot of the chocolate was laying in flakes in the box. The chocolate had been flattened as well. I was very disappointed as I had planned to bring this for thanksgiving celebration. It had been my mother's favorite candy. There are no Fannie May stores in our city anymore. It had been years since my family had tasted it. I will not be purchasing this again.

I have been purchasing Fannie May Dark Chocolate Vanilla Buttercreams for years. When I made this purchase it looked like I was getting a pound...totally missed the 6.5 oz box. This is not something that was offered when I purchased them directly from Fannie May. The cost, however was the same as a pound. Very disappointed!

on opening box, the packaging was not Fannie Mae at all - and pieces were scattered, upside down, quite messy. The plastic inserts intended for individual pieces were definitely NOT Fannie Mae. Even the outside of the box, the color of red, the styling, were NOT Fannie Mae. Surprisingly, the candy did taste like Fannie Mae, but it was old - not at all fresh.I will never order this from Amazon again.

I will not order Fanny May candy anymore from Amazon. The box is not like the Fanny May chocolate I use to get from the Fanny May website. I will buy them next time I’m in Chicago. The chocolate was not fresh and I only received10 chocolates for the money. In Chicago, I get double the amount for the money. So disappointed. Very sad. These are my favorite candies in the whole world.

This seller sent me inedible Fannie May candy. The "dark chocolate" outside was gray; the "buttercream" inside was hard as a rock. I contacted the seller as directed by Amazon's refund policy. I received this totally unsatisfactory reply: "Bhello if was very fresh chocolate maiby is hard to eat because if was super cool in chicago probably was frosend." (I copied it exactly.) The candy was not frozen when I tried to bite into a piece a week after it arrived. Fannie May candy is expensive but has always been worth it. This time it was worse than worthless because it spoiled a family Christmas tradition. Thank goodness I opened it before dividing it into gifts for my children. I wish I had read other reviews of this seller and seen their unsatisfactory replies before I ordered.

Fannie May was once a quality product. Clearly this particular candy it is not the same recipe. Chocolate is waxy and the butter cream filling taste is almost non existent.Considering the high price, sad to say I can’t recommend this product any longer.
