Night Sun Tarot (Night Sun Tarot, 1)

Great Modern Tarot
This is essentially the can't miss Modern Tarot. It is cool with an eclectic occultism, reverence for many different spirits, and intense Chaos Magick vibe to it. Fabio Listrani obviously knows the Tarot and the Golden Dawn system (the cards have the appropriate Hebrew letters in the borders). However I wouldn't recommend this as anyone's first deck without at least having a Thoth or Waite deck to reference it against. The divination potential with this deck is very high, especially for sincere practitioners. The art is gorgeous and is a mix of computer gen and hand-drawn. A bizarre menagerie of characters and spirits dance inside the appropriate assertions for each card and make the deck sing. All in all if you are a collector of the Tarot, especially if you're one of those hip young Chaos Mages you will love this deck.

Gorgeous artwork, well made cards.
I was a bit skeptical of getting this set of Tarot cards because it was sort of vague other than that it featured the 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana. The Night Sun Tarot set has very pretty artwork, though some of it is a bit risqué, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this product to a minor, it is still a wonderfully drawn set. The cards themselves feel solid, they're not too long or wide to handle (even with smaller hands), and the booklet that came with it is in 5 languages (English, Italian, German, French, and Spanish), and has a short overview of the deck itself, as well as each of the Major and Minor Arcana featured. All in all, it feels like a very well put together deck, and is worth getting for the artwork alone.

Beautiful Deck
I found the imagery of this deck thought provoking, mysterious, and a little creepy. My girlfriend and I pull cards once every 6 months and interpret them together. It’s a really fun activity and helps us realize things about our current situation as well as recognize some of our goals for the future. The cards don’t tell you…you tell you, using the cards as a way to reflect on your thoughts through different perspectives. What more could you ask for from a tarot deck?

Absolutely Amazing
I am beyond satisfied, happy and impressed with this deck. It has caught my eye several times while browsing but it wasn't until recently that it really reached out and grabbed me.I've seen the other reviews commenting on the energy it has. It truly does have a very powerful energy with it. The energy within is very much a culmination of deep esoteric studies and understanding. It delves deeper in to the ether and hidden workings of the universe than any deck I have worked with thus far. This is a very important deck not only to me as reader but in all aspects of my other practices and studies.

The back is a nice dark black with a golden design that adds to ...
Since receiving this deck I've done a lot of readings with it, taken it on vacation, and accidentally bled on it a little... I only say that because I want to illustrate how much use I've gotten out of it. It's definitely a non-traditional deck. I haven't been reading tarot long and unless you are learning by memory this may be difficult to learn with. Some cards look familiar in their symbolism/emotion to your typical rider-waite symbolism, and others are a little more abstract. I find I have a hard time intuitively reading the wands as opposed to the other suits, as the style looks really similar to me from card to card. That may just be a personal thing. On that note, each of the suits appears thematically similar and stand out with the use of matching color schemes. Red for wands, yellow for swords, blue for cups, and green for pentacles. The faces of characters are expressive and show a lot of personality. This is actually the first deck I've used to read for others and people have expressed how accurate the readings were. This is also my "darkest" deck yet and definitely has darker imagery than most of the decks I've shopped for, though I don't think it is "scary" and hasn't put anyone off yet. The back is a nice dark black with a golden design that adds to the richness and mystery of the deck. It is a standard size deck and I find the size to be perfect. Since purchasing this deck I've obtained a couple other decks, and I'm not sure that this is a deck I'd necessarily favor, but I'm definitely glad it's part of my collection and absolutely don't regret buying it.

Interesting blend on RW & Thoth tarot
The card stock isn’t as thick or durable as I’m used to, but it’s a bit stiff and seems like it will last for a while. This deck is a blend of Rider-Waite tarot and Thoth tarot.I was expecting it to take a while to get acquainted with this deck, but it took to my energy right away and has given me far clearer readings than purely RW decks. Love it & highly recommend!

Pros out weigh the cons
This is a very beautiful deck and I connected with it very fast. The symbolism isn't your typical rider waite so be prepared to either know your cards by memory or reading these intuitively. The book doesn't leave a very detailed description for each card, which for most may seem like a negative to some, but I view it as an open door to allow the readers intuition to be their quernts guide. The card stock is perfect for me as well. I have small hands, so their not too big or difficult for me to shuffle. They're also very sturdy, so if I get a lil rough they won't crease, yet the cards bend effortlessly when I shuffle cut. If you're debating the purchase because of a less detailed book, I feel lioe your missing out on a great deck to add to your collection.

Bad quality prints. USELESS BOOK. Not worth it.
I LOVE this artists other deck the Sante Muertos deck - but this one was his first deck and it’s just not nearly as good. The artwork is interesting and fine - the main issue is that the print quality doesn’t help the artwork look good. It’s such a poor quality printing that it brings down the artwork and makes it look a lot cheaper than it should.I can see how if the quality of the prints were better, the cards would feel like higher quality.Also. The book is one of the worst I’ve seen. Useless. The book is completely useless. And if you like to refer to a book during readings - the poor quality prints and useless book equate to NOT BUYING THIS DECK. Sorryyyy. I really wanted to like this deck but nahhhhh. Don’t waste your money either.

Simbolismo
Son un Poco más estrechas de lo normal pero la misma altura. Para mi gusto son muy finas pero se barajan fenomenal y las imágenes me gustan mucho. El reverso tiene parte superior e inferior distintas lo que delata las invertidas.

A Brilliant Deck
The artwork is stunning!! Colours are intense in conjunction with the strong imagery and symbolism. I chose this as the balance to my 'lighter' art decks and it did not disappoint!!

Bons visuels, mais...
Qualité des cartes trés moyenne, et un peu petites. Un côté un peu cheap, quand on pense au mal que s'est donné l'artiste.

A Polar Opposite To The Classic Rider Waite Tarot
Finally found the perfect Jungian shadow version of a tarot deck that speaks to me. Love this deck. The inclusion of elemental symbols and hebrew alphabets that coincides with hebrew tree of life pathways is a splendid inclusion. Artwork reminiscent of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman Art. Will be using this deck more often from now on. Highly recommended if you are into classic occult traditions with a penchant for the dark and macabre.
