Gets hot fast - It's great
The Cusimax 1800W upgraded electric hot plate is awesome. This is the best hot plate I have ever purchased. Believe me I have tried quite a few over the years. This one works great, and the water boils quickly. It is easy to keep clean. I am so happy I purchased this hot plate. It far exceeded my expectations.

Nice Infrared Dual Ceramic Burner Cooktop
Great value for the money. I love the gorgeous appearance of this infrared cooktop with a white marble finish on its stainless steel top, & 2 black durable glass burners which show even, bright red patterns as they heat. It looks so nice, if it wasn't designed as a portable model, I'd install it as a permanent drop-in cooktop in my cabinet. This is my 1st experience with infrared cooking, & I was amazed by how quickly & evenly it heats. I've found mine to be quiet, making no unusual noise. I have no trouble boiling water, or cooking things so they turn out exactly the same as on my gas stove. & Another bonus is it's SO much easier to clean. I've been happily using this model x2 months for all my stove top cooking, & it's doing quite well, but I'll update if anything changes. Highly recommended!

Takes 20-min to start boiling 1 gallon water✅️ Hot to touch✅️ Relatively cheap✅️ yep...
Overall Burner quality: Decent looking metal surface with printed "white marble" design enamel coating. Entire unit is surrounded in a shell of sheet metal which becomes quite warm to the touch (some would consider it hot) even operating only 1 of the 2 burners on high. Both burners running on high settings makes the entire surface *(including the temperature control knobs!!)* likely too hot for most to touch with bare hands, so gloves or mitts are probably necessary for most operators of this thing. Each burner is 900W, max. They do NOT balance 1800W between them as may be implied in ad headers. In other words, using only 1 of the 2 burners will not allow that burner to use the full 1800W, unfortunately. This seems like a very easy thing to implement in such devices, so I can only assume they would NOT do it in order to use cheaper overall build materials that only have to withstand 900W of single-burner heat output... any single 1800W burner will necessarily be encased in and wired with more robust materials. Alas, 900W max burner units are cheaper because they're... well... cheaper. 😅 Works well: ...enough. At my elevation of about 700' above sea level, one (preheated bare) 900W infrared/ceramic burner at full power takes about 20 minutes to reach a gentle simmering boil of a gallon of water, which appears to be the best boiling it can do for my test pot: *Test pot is 6Qt capacity, filled with about 4Qt of our well (spring 🤤) water from the tap. The pot's bottom plate precisely covers the full diameter of the heated ceramic surface, exactly. Fwiw, the pot is a Carote brand, detachable-handle, ceramic nonstick coated, aluminum pot with a mild-steel-insert baseplate for induction-readiness. I'll attach a video. Why did you pick this product vs others?: So far, it's worth about what I paid for it. I.e., not more than 80 bucks.

hot plate
Okayyy so this electric hot plate is actually a whole vibe. It heats up suuuper fast (like no waiting forever for water to boil 😩), and the temperature control is 🔥 precise — I can simmer, boil, or fry without guessing. The surface stays pretty even, so my pot doesn’t wobble, which is a big win.

Decent for light use
I’ve been using this portable electric burner for about a month now. Overall, it’s a handy little appliance if you need an extra burner for your kitchen or a portable option for travel, but there are a few things you should know before buying. First, the power isn’t quite what I expected. It does get the job done for simple tasks like boiling water for pasta or making a quick omelet but it takes noticeably longer than a regular stovetop. If you’re hoping to sear steaks, deep fry, or do any heavy-duty cooking, this probably isn’t the right fit. Other people said the same, the wattage just doesn’t quite deliver on speed. Another thing I noticed is that the burner sometimes heats unevenly. The center gets hot fast, but the edges aren’t as strong, so it can be tricky to cook larger pans evenly. As for the build quality, it’s lightweight and compact, which is great for storage and portability. However, the construction feels a little on the flimsy side. I haven’t had any major issues yet but I’m not sure how well it will hold up with frequent use. The surface also gets really hot, so you’ll want to be careful not to touch it while it’s running or cooling down. All in all, this is an okay option for occasional or light use, especially if you’re tight on space. Just don’t expect the power or durability of a full-size stove. It’s good for what it is, but I’m not sure I’d rely on it for anything beyond the basics.

Great Price
Great price, good quality, quick delivery. Nice double burner for medium size pans. I broke it in by frying some diced potatoes on a setting of 8 and 9 (11 is the highest). Worked great. I mainly bought it for back up or emergencies. Light weight and easy to store in the box it came in.

Crappy piece of junk
DO NOT buy this piece of junk..its on high heat and thats the brightest the heating got… This setting is like low heat when i’m drying rice… I don’t understand how it got so many stars and who these ppl are writing these elaborate reviews…it don't even deserve a 1 star… I gave it another chance this morning scrambling eggs and it took me 20 minutes to scramble it… The butter took more than 6 minutes to melt..i just DO NOT have the patience for this type of mess.. Its going back and then i’m back on the hunt for a better counter stovetop…
