Don't worry about the price
I have a 5 year old RP1 turntable that would slow down when the LP was cleaned with a brush. After installing this godawful expensive belt it does not slow down. I think the table sounds better, but that might have something to do with my cash outlay.

Misleading
Did not work properly. The picture is misleading because this is not a genuine Rega part. Don't look at the picture then why use it.

Fixed speed issues
I have a Rega Planar 6 turntable that came with their so called new and improvedwhite belt and the table just seemed to sound a bit off. Like the speed was going up anddown slightly. Well, I was right when I did a speed test. The turntable was indeed varyingspeed as I played records. At first I thought maybe it is the motor or thatmotor control box or possibly even a bad cable from the speed control boxto the turntable's motor. I also lubed the main bearing and still the varying speed.Since this turntable is all of a month or so old I just could not believe the beltwould already be bad. I was all set to send it back to Rega then I read in several places aboutissues with speed others had. The common denominator was that white Rega drive belt.So I ordered this new belt and voila! Problem solved. Now my records sound as they should.I must admit I was a bit confused with this Planar 6because I had used the Planar 3 in the past and loved how great itsounded and that is why I bought the Planar 6. The belt is expensive, but for me, itfixed the wandering speed issue and now the turntable plays as a Rega should.It makes me wonder why they would use this white beltin the first place. All I can figure is that theturntable I received might have been in the warehouse for some time. Anyway, ifyou have a Rega with that white belt anda varying speed issue, this belt will fix that problem.

It’s serve the purpose but I do think it was a little pricey for a single belt

Fits my Rega 1 perfectly
Fits my Rega Plnr 1 perfectly. Definitely time for a new belt. You can see how stretched the old one was.
