Cyber Dilemmas In a Jar®: Challenges for Teens Product Bundle – September 1, 2012

What an awesome idea! I love this little topics to share and discuss with students! One of our technology applications teachers shared this with me and my department shared it with the other teachers at the middle schools. I do wish there was a little bit of a cheat sheet to go with it as some of the adults always know the "right" response. :(

Used these cards as an activity with my high school group during counseling sessions. The students loved talking about the various scenarios. It is also a great ice breaking activity.

I think it was a little pricey so gave it 4 stars, but it would have taken me a long time to come up with all the scenarios in the jar. Relevant to today's teens. I will use it a lot.

These questions are basically all the same - at least the answer is all the same - talk it over with someone you trust.

My students LOVE this game. This is relevant and a quick activity for both my Speech and Language students as well as the anit-bullying club I am a part of. The cards are sturdy but lightweight.

Challenging, provocative without being profane. Decent for high schoolers. Well-phrased. Good ice-breakers and short-term activities. Kids will ask to keep doing this but maybe to get out of the harder work; still, they engage.

My daughter and I have found it useful. She feels that several situations described resonate with her.

I like the cyber dilemmas in a jar because it gets kids to thinking about the choices they make. Great conversation starter as well.
