Bordeaux Journal (Diary, Notebook)

I bought 2 of these journals adding to two other ones I bought a few years ago. They are so beautiful, sturdy, and easy to use. Their elegance inspires writing from a deeper level. Each journal has a convenient ribbon bookmark. The affordable price is amazing for the quality of design, weight of paper, and vintage feel. I love these.

I got this as a gift to go with a wine planner and it was perfect together. The rich colors and gilded pages are elegant, i brought 5 different types of these journals , 4/5 have been outstanding quality ( worth every penny ). The last one is arriving soon and im excited to see if it holds up .

Outstanding quality! Classy and sophisticated. It was too pretty to write in, so I didn't lol I unfortunately returned it because I bought several and I was spending too much so I had to slow my role. Ironically I just ordered this exact one yesterday to start my 2026 memoirs. Remember my name because I am going to be famous someday. But not in a bad way, like a serial killer on the news nothing like that

Beautiful journal! Was meant to go with an outfit, but one of the pieces never came and one was a different color than anticipated, so didn't end up using it. Sturdy cover, crisp clean pages, and even has a ribbon bookmark. Perfect for the classic fairytale period look to use as a prop or for actual journal/diary.

Beautiful book for journaling. I cant even put into words how amazing this book is. It is hardback, high quality and beyond pretty. It looks good on any side table or book shelf. If you need a nice and high quality book to take notes, write down your thoughts or journal. I would highly recommend this book for you.

I purchased this at the last minute for a "guest book" for a party because the personalized journal I ordered from another site did not arrive on time. This is a beautiful journal of very nice quality.

I buy a lot of journals. A LOT. I started this journal April 5, 2018, and filled the last of the 192 pages April 30. This is a really well-built large journal with beautiful thick, smooth acid-free paper. The pages measure 8 3/4" x 7", with the overall journal size of 9" x 7 1/4". I use my journals as a combination of my thoughts on the day, writing short stories, and as art journals. Usually I glue a piece of multi-media paper to the page (to paint), but a few times I used the paper as-is, and it held up fine to light watercolor washes. I wouldn't advise getting these pages soaking wet, but a little paint doesn't destroy them. The lines are very light, an excellent guide for writing, but not dark enough to make a page with art look strange. As for bleeding, Copic markers DO bleed through, but my Tombows did not. If you need to use alcohol-based markers, you can just glue two pages together to make a thicker page. With 192 pages, you have enough to play with. The cover is very nice, though I guess I was expecting a more authentic-looking gilt effect. It's pretty, but don't expect Victorian-binding-style gilt. I often recover journals, but this one is lovely and I left it as-is. The pages do NOT tear out easily, but an craft knife blade can be used to remove a page. For this price point, this journal is a great value, far above and beyond other journals in its class. Highly recommended!
