The awning clip/pin combination is too large to fit into the groove of a standard Dometic 9000 series power awning. (I have the 9100) If you try and force it, you run the risk of damaging the awning roller or the fabric of the awning clips. The pin needs to be a slightly smaller diameter. The seller offered no solution to solve the problem. Also, the stakes included are plastic, not metal as pictured in the description.

Great product! So far so good. Had this for a few weeks now and it’s held up great. We’re full-timers and stationary in the deep south. The sun is shining right on us most of the day so we needed a shade to be able to use our outdoor space. This was the perfect size and an awesome price. We upgraded the stakes since the ones that come with it are a joke. But otherwise we’re super happy with this! It’s just what we needed and at half the price of others.

The shades intended for outdoor/porch shade either didn’t fit or were awfully expensive. Enter this pergola shade. I love it. And....I can take it down, wash it and also take it camping with me. Need I say more? I did buy hooks at Home Depot to screw it into the wood.

I have a 15' solera awning on my sundance tt and tried to install this today and as you can tell by the pics the metal stainless rod will not fit in the track of my awning with the fabric attached, it's to big and wont slide in.Also the rods are to long to fit in between the awning motor cover and the tube, I had to remover the motor cover just to try to get the stainless rod in the awning tube.I don't remember if the description mentions metal stakes but mine came with plastic stakes and I prefer metal over plasticSo now I'm going to have to find something that will fit the track of the awning tube so I can attach the sunshade to.So it may be cheap but cheap is what you get, I don't know how the sunshade itself is like as I didn't make it that far because the mounting would not work for me.

I got the coffee color. It's a mixed weave of black and tan. Looks great. I used on my awning gazebo I got from Montgomery Ward. The fabric got destroyed from leaving out all winter. This was a great update for it. It's darker than what I had before, but looks great with the frame.As for the use with a camper I can't speak to that. My set did come with metal dowels, stakes, loose tabs with grommets, the elastic ties, and metal S-shape hooks. This is a versatile item.I'll update with how it holds up to weather and sun exposure. The item feels like plastic. I hope it can resist constant sunlight.

The awning shade was exactly as described in the ad. We did purchase different attachments as the ones it comes with do not fit our awning. It was longer than we realized, even though we knew the measurements and we had to attach it to the ground by the sides since it extended past the electrical pole that separates the sites. You can see through it but it does provide more privacy especially when our campsite was next to a set of stairs that got a lot of use by others in the campground. I would recommend this product.

I like the way this looks at my campsite. It helps to keep my rv cool while adding privacy. I get a lot of compliments on it. My only complaint is that the awning hooks did not fit in the groove of the awning. Luckily, I had some of the camco light holders that fit perfectly. The included hooks are made from fabric and were too thick to slide through. I also wish that this manufacturer would make side panels because I would buy those!

Very pleased with the effectiveness of this sun shade. We used it on our camper awning for a week at a campground at the beach in the summertime and it kept us from sitting in the direct sun light. It was much cooler under the awning which made for a more enjoyable camping experience. We did have to buy awning clips and separately in order for them to work for us, but the price was fair so I didn’t mind the few extra dollars for the extras.

Recieved this this past week & set up this weekend. Quality of mesh is excellent and we could immediately feel cooler under our canopy and helps prevent morning sun burns. Note that a number of other reviews call out the fact that the grommet and S hooks won"t fit in Dometic 9000 series channel so ensure you plan around this. Also the ground pegs are plastic, not metal as shown. Hopefully the supplier updates or call this out better in thier product descriptions/info. Otherwise a solid 4, but could be 5 if they correct.
