This roaster is a very good buy. It is durable and very easy to use. It is big enough to cook almost anything and it is not extremely heavy. So anyone can use it without worry of portability. Once you realize how versitile it is, you will use it all the time... You can roast a turkey in it and even bake pies... Excellent cost to value. And the buffet pans bring in an even greater dimension of versitility for special events... You won't be sorry you've purchased this one! We use it all the time and it has made for great convenience.

Pros: sturdy, large enough for big meals and roasts, temperature is set correct, buffet trays add usable Versatility, looks great, can cook meals without lighting the gas oven. Cons:lid fit is not snug. I usually set something on top of the lid to make a snug fit.

This what I ordered and I should have known when I paid for it that the quality of materials would be lacking. It will however work well for me. It looks very nice and has a variety of uses.

Very nice, large roaster. I've used it several times and it has performed beautifully. Although I haven't used the buffet pans, I do like the idea of using them at some point in the future. I cooked our brined Thanksgiving turkey in this little beauty and it worked like magic. I checked around for roasters prior to my purchase and chose this one--so glad I did.

I have a large family so i thought this would be perfect for me. it was great, i roasted 2 turkeys, numerous roasts, casseroles and even a huge brisket. It was wonderful until about 9 months after i bought it, it stopped getting hot. the light would turn on and you could hear that it was getting electricity but im guessing the heating element went out, only 9 months after getting it.

It does not have a domed lid so it is not possible to cover a turkey of any size. Nice for the buffet but not for roasting turkeys

Great for roasting turkey, chicken, roasts, etc. Does a good job. Temperature is fairly accurate. It reads a little high when it first heats up, then settles down. We appreciate the light in front that shows when the oven is on and heating.

Baking on holidays? If your oven isn't large enough for that turkey, the green bean casserole, and all of the other things you need to bake, this roaster can solve the problem. We used it for the first time on Thanksgiving and it solved the problem for us. It is easy to use, has more than enough room, is easy to clean and it works!In fact, it works so well, I have been using it instead of the oven--not just as an overflow appliance. I noticed on Amazon.com that it got higher reviews than some costlier alternatives I might have bought and am more than satisfied with this roaster.
