I bought 2 bottles and unfortunately 1 was opened during shipping but the one I was able to use worked great. I applied a palm full to damp hair and did pin curls. They dried over night and came out soft and perfect. I was able to brush through them and did not experience any tangling or crunchiness. I have shoulder length hair that is very thick. The curls lasted for a few days of brushing and styling. They might have lasted longer but I washed my hair. $2 a bottle is a pretty sweet deal. I would definitely buy again.

Definitely adds hold to my hair but if I use to much it becomes a little crunchy.

What I love about this product is it isn't heavy feeling on the hair so it doesn't leave that heavy-weight feeling. There is no sticky residue left on my hands or figer tips which let me know there isn't a lot of alcohol which tends to dry out the hair. It has a pleasant scent to it, not too perfumy.How I apply Motions Salon Haircare Extra Firm Hold Foaming Wrap LotionI wear a lot of falls which I am not an advocate of adding clue to ones hair; and sew-ins tend to make the hair itch and dry out due to lack of oxygen to the roots of the hair follicles.After blending my half wig; I brush my natural hair over the top; with the use of a water bottle I spray water on my own hair in the front; then I brush with a medium-course bristle type brush. Once brushed back I then add Motions Salon Haircare Extra Firm Hold Foaming Wrap Lotion but this time using a soft bristle type brush like before I brush, and blend well. Finally, last step cover with a silk scarf and let dry. I never use hair dryers on my hair but prefer to let it dry naturally. I don't need to go into much details how blow dryers tend to damage the hair due to over-heating; and the extreme high voltage that is being applied. Black hair tends to already be dry especially in cold, winter months there is no need to add more dryness which only causes damages to the hair.What I do love about this product is how soft it make my hair feel. It has a nice, soft-silky texture without feeling heavy, and weigh-down. Once my hair is dried and I remove silk scarf my hair doesn't feel harsh or corse as it does when I use traditional mousse. My natural hair is just as soft and therefore, tends to blend nicely with the synthetic type of hair. I trust that this product is not damaging my own natural hair although, there is no need to apply everyday. I simply re-apply more water from my water bottle and then brush for another day or two.I highly recommend this product which is safe for adults and small children. With any hair products you always want to follow-up with a good conditioning product after shampoo. The great thing about falls they are best for short-term wear; great if your on vacation and want to spend more time enjoying your lounging on a beach front, drinking a mai-tai; instead of your family/friends haivng to wait hours while you style and fuss over your own hair. I've been using this stuff for a while now and it really is a nice wrap lotion. It holds my rollersets well (I'm natural) and it dries quickly unless applied on soaking wet hair. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is really sticky and after setting my hair my hands feel like I just dug through a candy jar with damp hands. Obviously that can be handled by washing hands afterward but it's just something that bothers me since the other wrap lotion I use doesn't have that problem.

Really good. I read in a beauty magazine that it is a great volumizer for fine hair, so I tried it. It works!And it's not expensive - Great perk.

good hold but doesn't dry as soft as the mousse from Jane carter

I used this product once and did not like it on my hair. The foam is too sticky for my liking and left my curls feeling crunchy. I used it as a styling lotion with my Curlformers Extra Long & Wide Styling Kit; on clean wet hair.

I brought this product to use for wet-sets. It set my curls nicely, however they are a little crunchy. On a positive note, the curls lasted a while, even thru a workout.
