This is a $5 harmonica. It won't play right and isn't a good beginner instrument it's at best a cheap kid's toy.
I don't get how these get 5 stars. Out of the box, I got what I paid for - $5 harmonicas, meaning some of the notes do not play or barely play.In my case that's what I was hoping for and wanted as they are going to be my practice harmonicas to work on before I work on my GOOD stuff. But for the average person all this is going to do is frustrate them.They are cheap and they play like it. 5 stars? Either those are fake reviews or some people are VERY easy to please. I would NOT buy these expecting they will play well out of the box - if you can't fix them or get them fixed cheap (and how much money is it worth to put into a $5 item?) or free, pass on these they won't be what you are looking for. You simply are going to have to spend about $30 to get a good beginner harmonica, such as the Hohner Special 20 where the notes all WILL play for you right out of the box.

Not bad for the price.
The old adage, you get what you pay for. They're not the best I've ever used, and by no means am I an expert, but they're inexpensive and they work. However, you do have to put a lot more air through to make sound than the more expensive ones I've used. Still, with a little extra effort, they get the job done.

The Perfect Grandkid Christmas Gift!
I ordered these harmonicas for my 8 grandkids (ages 1-15). I engraved their name and the year on each one. They were really excited about them! My daughter-in-law said to my son "I think your mom hates me". Hehe I think that my sons were jealous that I didn't buy them one also? They looked so fancy in their red velvet lined cases and cleaning cloths. I am very happy that I choose these harmonicas!

Potentially a good and useful instrument for kids
Product arrived on schedule. Packaged nicely and each harmonica had it's own case albeit cardboard.Hopefully my grandkids will enjoy them.

Broken storage case.
Grandson loved the gold shineiness even though I ordered silver. Unfortunately storage case arrived with a broken hinge which distressed him. I ended up buying a second one from a different company
