I asked my husband if he likes he night stand light with the scale of 1-5 Stars for this review. He said, “I don’t know, it’s just a lamp, it does the job I guess.” So there you have it folks. :) He then said 4 out of 5.

Normally I don't spend time writing a review for a product unless I have something to say that will help others in some way or other. So I haven't written too many reviews to date. This is one of those products I might pass on for review because I have nothing special to say. But I received an email from the retailer asking me to write a review and my wife really likes the product, so I figure, okay. I previously bought two LED desk lamps at Office Max and Office Depot, and they both worked well for a while, but then some of the LED lights starting flickering and eventually died. The flickering was really annoying. So far, this lamps works really well and the light it gives off is bright and easy to work by. The only thing that gives me pause is the on-off switch, which is recessed into the lamp where the LED lights are. I'm always feeling for it and not good at finding it, so I have to feel around for it. But I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a negative feature. My wife has no problem and makes fun of my incompetence. Bottom line: so far this lamp works great, is stylish looking, and appears to be superior to the two LED lamps I previously purchased at Office Max and Office Depot. But only time will tell. I also want to point out that finding inexpensive LED desk lamps in stores like Office Max, Office Depot, and Staples, is not that easy. The ones I bought were around $20 each, and when I went back to buy new ones, I couldn't find any. Instead, there's a lot of cumbersome, downright ugly lamps that I would call "junk" which these chain stores have the cheek to sell, most of them not even LED. I find it hard to believe that these major office supply stores don't or won't sell nice desk lamps. No one wants a ten-pound paperweight for a desk lamp anymore. For the price of this LED desk lamp and the convenience of ordering through Amazon, I would say "Go for it!"

I got this to replace a halogen lamp on my desk. I was a little disappointed to find that the light cast by the LED was somewhere between what I'd expect from a pure white LED and a florescent light. I fixed this by adding some sheets of lighting gel (like photographers and stage lighters use to alter the color of their lights.) I found that 3/4 CTO gel was enough to get the color I wanted. The brand I went with was Rosco.If you want a cool, white light, this lamp is pretty good out of the box. If you want something more traditional a little scrap of lighting gel taped over the bottom will make it happen. Now that I know (and have some extra gel) I'd buy this lamp again.

I am one of those consumers that researches a product to death before I finally buy it looking for positive customer reviews and a good value for the price. I needed a small desk lamp at work that was bright and that I could easily use with my computer instead of turning on the overhead lights in the office. This lamp meets both of those requirments. It has a bright light that isn't overpowering and doesn't compete with the computer screen. It also takes up very little space. The on/off switch is located under the rim so you don't have to fuss w/finding the switch on the lamp cord. It is adjustable so you can point the light stream exactly where you want it. For the price this is a good product.

The light is quite bright, just as advertised. Don't look directly at the light or you will see a spot for a while.The size is goodfor a small desk. I found the stand to be a little flimsy and the plastic base and head scratch easily. The light that was delivered had several blemishes. Based on the condition of the light, it appears that I was sent one that had been returned and resold. If not, then the materials of construction are low quality. Overall, I like the desk lamp for the price. The delivery was fast.

I love giving good reviews and at this point I can give a rave review on this desk lamp. It's brighter and mellower than expected and absolutely perfect for my application. the base is slightly weighted and it really stays put, the switch is easy to find once you know where it is, and it uses practically no power to speak of. I'm going to run it through the paces of use and see what happens. LED lights last for years under normal circumstances. The power supply could be easily replaced and perhaps the LED itself could be swapped out, but I don't see that happening for a long time. All 5 stars on this one and recommended.

As functionality goes, this inexpensive little lamp does the trick. I just want to echo some other customers in saying that the base has scratches all over it and the "felt" on the bottom is improperly glued on. These did not matter for my purposes, but if you are into aesthetics, then you need to look further. It would definitely scratch a nice wooden desk surface and it looks like a cat worked over the finish! But...it works and that's all I needed it for.

Ordered this lamp for my dresser in my bedroom. While there's only one LED lamp, it's remarkably bright. So much so, I ended up affixing a piece of tinted, smoky vinyl to the bottom side to dim the light somewhat. Did the trick. The switch is a little awkward on the underside of the light fixture (I would have preferred a switch on the base), but still much better than IKEA's small LED lamp, which incorporates a rotary switch about 10 inches down on the electrical cord (just plain stupid design). Time will tell, but for now, I'm reasonably happy with it.
