RUSTINS Small Job Gloss Paint Buttercup 250ml

I last painted our garden furniture 18 years ago and it was starting to flake off, so it was time to do it again - but one of those jobs I had kept putting off for a few years! In the end I bought this Rustin's Small Job Gloss Paint and am glad that I did. I found it very easy to apply. It dries very quickly, in around 30 minutes, so you can do two coats in a day. It is a great colour - brighter when you put it on and dries to a slightly darker shade. This is helpful when doing a second coat as you can see what has already been painted. In the end I used four 250ml tins and this was sufficient to put two coats on six chairs and two tables, plus a third coat on just the table tops. So a little goes a long way and we are very happy with the way they look.

Excellent paint. Bought it to provide a contrast for a radiator, shelf and hand rail having been disappointed in the colour of a Dulux paint I had had mixed specially. Colour exactly as shown. Covers well and easily with few drops even on the radiator- a nightmare to paint with the Dulux. Lovely gloss finish. Small tin but goes a long way and only needed one coat.

The Rustins Small Job Satin Paint (White, 250ml) goes on smoothly and provides a nice, subtle satin finish. Perfect for small touch-ups or craft projects, it dries evenly and is easy to work with. A handy, high-quality option for minor painting tasks.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this paint, I wanted to give some love to an old mirror, change it from a dull silver to black and gold. This paint was fantastic, so smooth and silky, and it dried in the most stunning sheen. It covered in one coat and only needed slight touch ups. Plus its water based so easy clean up after. I didn't use any primer, just lightly sanded and cleaned the surface and it looks perfect. 10/10 I can't wait to find more things to paint with this. Great value for money, I barely used the top 0.5 cm of the tin.

I was disappointed that the colour of the paint is lighter and brighter than it is in the picture on the tin, which shows exactly what I was looking for. I used It anyway because the job had to be done urgently and I thought the result wouldn't look too bad, and in fact it doesn't. However, it would have looked much better with a darker shade of green like the one shown on the tin The paint is rather thin, but seems to be of quite good quality and I found it easy to apply.

Great did the job, not very glossy though, it looks more like mat paint. NIce colour. Chips easily. Tiny pot, I thought I wouldn't have enough, but it went far. I've still got some left in the tin.

nice smooth finish its durable and doesnt smell too strong when drying, it will take a beating!!

Love it , Color Came Out Perfect Used It To Paint My Front Door , Had To Do A 3 Layers But One Small Can Did The Job !

This paint covers very well and hardly no sanding was needed for the project.
