They are tubes. Nice material and very sturdy.

Although they do give the size of these in their description, I was expecting these to be the size of a standard paper towel roll and they are NOT. They're at least two inches shorter. They are very flimsy, so you can't use them for anything that needs these as support.

Great purchase. Very happy with the quality of the product. Kids loved them. Would definitely order them again. Thickness of the cardboard was surprisingly thick almost to thick to have the kids cut without assistance. Used these for a Cub Scout Halloween night hike. The scouts painted and cut eye holes and a six inch glow stick fit perfectly. Placed these randomly throughout the trail to spook the kids. Very happy with the outcome.

I was very surprised at how sturdy the rolls are. I was expecting them to be about like the paper towels rolls but they much sturdier. We used them for our VBS project. The children were able to decorate them without them bending. I would definitely buy them again.

I bought these to make rain sticks with my class. They were a lot sturdier than a paper towel tube. I am glad I spent the money on these instead. I will be purchasing these again for my class next year.

Worked perfectly! I had a project to hide come cables from sight, so I taped a few of these together, cut a line down the side for access and tucked the roll away. The cardboard is nice and thick, definitely stronger than I was expecting, which was really helpful. The size and amount was exactly what they said it would be and I am very happy with this purchase.
