Imagine the coolest game your kids ever wanted to play ...
Then buy them this game. One minute they are running, the next they are swimming, climbing, sliding, flying, all as their favorite Disney heroes. If they had this kind of stuff around when I was a kid, I would have never left the house. But never fear - more often than not, after playing, both of my kids collapse in a fit of exhaustion after running in place or swinging their arms trying to swim. The moves (running in place, flying, jumping, swimming, etc.) are all intuitive, but are aided by graphics on the screen, so even the youngest of kids (probably 4 or so) can get into it. The sense of motion, interaction and involvement is real, especially on a big screen, with the surround sound turned on.My 4 and 6 year olds absolutely love this game. Its incredibly fun to watch my two kids play cooperatively and figure out puzzles, then race to the finish line. The levels are challenging, but not overly so. Graphics are fun and crisp. Characters are interactive, but not annoying.Great execution, awesome gameplay. Definite repeat game play fun, too.

This game is loads of fun!!!
I bought this game recently for my son because he is a huge Pixar fan. I bought him the Toy Story 3 game but my son is very active...well more like hyperactive and using a controller for too long bores him. I always compare him to Sonic the Hedgehog, one of his favorite characters because he is full of energy. Anyway, he loves this game because he has to move, A LOT! I use my gamertag and played with him for about an hour and a half and the next day I felt like when you feel powerful and try one of those Tae Bo DVDs. The setup is like a nice park with attractions for the kids to play. The game will scan your body and create a child character based on your likeness. And then you choose where you wanna go and what to play. Your child (and you, if you like)will have hours of fun. It's a great outlet for stored energy because they have to move their arms constantly to move, turn, they have to jump to drive you have to steer, you swim, dive underwater, etc. But you don't do the same thing for too long and you always have a friendly character by your side helping you when you are stuck. My favorite feature is that if you need more friends to help you just clap your hands, My son was excited when Woody came up and said something like "Ok, what seems to be the problem here?" If you have active kids and you are active yourself and want to spend some quality time with your kids, get this game and play together. you'll feel like a kid again and you'll both have lots of fun

Great for adults and kids. Endless fun.
It's been about two months since I bought it and I absolutely love it. After the first couple of sessions, my 6 year old daughter had mastered the controls and is able to jump from adventure to adventure without much input or direction from me. It's the most intuitive Xbox game I have played. One of the subtle benefits is that the children are cued into the fact that each adventure is a fantasy; very helpful for adults who're trying to separate out stories from reality. We play it together - it's challenging enough to keep adults entertained; the other night, I had a 64 yo grand dad jump in (literally) and get into his first Xbox game ever. He was fascinated. It's kept us active through the frozen days - and we've not come close to exhausting all the adventures. Probably only a fifth or less of the way in. (We've also been challenged enough to play an adventure over and over, and found twists each time.)Cannot wait to see what else these guys come out with.

Waste of time, just like the Kinect itself.
Bought this for a Christmas present for my kids b/c it was on sale, thinking they would love it based on the description. It spent about 30 minutes in the system before my kids turned it off in frustration, and we spent 20 of those minutes simply trying to set up in-game avatars for them. This game is terrible because the Kinect is terrible. I am so sick of the Kinect. It sucks. It’s a failure. I should have learned my lesson with the atrocious Kinect Star Wars, but no. My fault. The biggest problem with Kinect is that 99% of its games are designed for kids but it requires the patience & precision of an adult to use. If you are old enough to get around all of its annoying quirks, you are not going to be interested in playing the kiddie Kinect games. If, like my kids, you are age appropriate for the games, the Kinect will be a frustrating obstacle to gameplay and you’ll be switching back to a controller-operated game after a few minutes.Anyway, this specific game is for up to two players, and is supposed to scan them into the Pixar world with the Kinect camera. It vaguely does that. The avatar it made for one of my kids looked a little bit like him but not really. You can change some of the avatar’s features manually, but the Kinect menu interfaces are so frustrating to use we skipped that. The Kinect flat out refused to scan in my other son. At one point you have to stand up straight with your arms & legs spread out, inside a green outline. My son did that, several times but the Kinect refused to register his knees or elbows. It only gives you a few seconds to complete this scan before popping up an error message and forcing you to start the process all the way over again from the beginning. We spent most of our time slogging through this process and I wanted to snap the Kinect in half. Then we got to the actual game, which wasn’t much better than navigating the menus. Kids tend to jump around as they try to have fun with the game, but the Kinect penalizes you for that. My kids would get too far forward or too far right or left, and they had a lot of trouble with the controls. The gameplay is also repetitive and confusing. You run your avatar around with characters from various Pixar movies and are presented with puzzles, sometimes given with no hints. That would be all right for an adult, but it’s not fun for a 5-year old. One puzzle involved having to jump up on a little raised platform, and the controls are so awful my kids were not able to do it. They’d either jump past it, over it, or they’d jump and the Kinect wouldn’t recognize they were jumping. If you want a fun Kinect game for your kids, get Kinect Party. Even if you manage to get through the avatar creation menus in Kinect Rush, there is no reward waiting for you in playing the actual game. Hopefully I can get a dollar or two for this junk on trade in.

Fun but
This game is fun and cute I will admit, and I bought it with the hopes it'd be a game my 3 year old and I could play together. However we found this game it be a little difficult for my son. This game would be better suited for older children around 6 and up.
