I love these treats! I can't give them 5 stars though because they're surprisingly hard (softer than a milk bone and can be broken in half easily, but still hard) and had purchased them for my finicky, soft treat loving dog. He's not impressed. My other dog can't get enough of them though and I LOVE the way they smell. We have so many gross fish and liver smelling treats but the Soft Bakes Carrot & Pumpkin smell like homemade muffins. I'm tempted to try one myself!Pictured is Harley, a soft coated wheaten terrier (26 lb).

This is a brand that has been around many years. The ingredients are all on the healthy side.Treats themselves are a bit larger than I pictured. However they can be cut without a problem.There is no offensive odor when opening the bag, which easily reveals. My dog has had different flavors of this goodie, this one is not her favorite, she can be picky. Thus the 4 stars. Truly looks like a good treat.

Our dog loves these treats. They smell heavenly, like a fresh batch of cookies. The treats are pretty big but soft enough to break in half. There aren't very many in the package, making them pretty expensive for something without any special ingredients. That's why I give it only 4 stars.

So first off, I have to say my dog isn't picky, but my husband is! And with that caveat, I shall tell the tale. I received the bag of treats, and when I opened it I tore the resalable part. Due to this I placed the dog treats into the nearest empty sealed container. (I should also add that I've been trying to get my hubby to eat healthier and have been experimenting with healthy cookies.) Later that night as we were watching tv, my husband looks over at me and says the following: "Babe, I think you got a winner with those cookies you made today." I paused and said, "Honey, I didn't make any cookies today. Which ones are you talking about?" He then replied, "The cookies on the counter." I started to laugh, really hard when I realized which "cookies" he was talking about! Almost the whole jar was gone. Needless to say, our dog really likes them as well. Thank goodness they are all natural with no additives to speak of!

Huh, carrots and pumpkin. Wouldn't have guessed that combination would hit the spot for my dog, but she sure does love it when I open this bag up.The thing I love most about these treats: I can read and identify everything on the ingredients list. Everything was so readily identifiable that my girlfriend and I actually felt comfortable tasting the treat ourselves (it reminded me of a pumpkin cookie mixed with carrot cake but without the sugary sweetness).My dachshund loves these treat, and they're small enough to be manageable for her but big enough that she has to chew them. They break apart fairly easily but leave surprisingly few crumbs around.Maybe this is just my dog (lord knows she's picky), but I would recommend these as an occasional treat rather than the main one, because she seems to get bored with them if you feed her several in a row, though she will eventually eat it.

I'm not sure by what metric these could be considered "soft" or "moist" - maybe when compared to the driest concrete on the planet? They are hard and dry as sand - crumble when you try to break them up by hand. They're also quite big. I thought I would be able to use these to break off into tiny pieces while training my puppy, but no such luck.The reason I'm giving two rather than one stars is that my pup LOVES the way these taste. She loses her tiny mind. Definitely "high-value" treats. I'm going to have to cut them up with a knife, but I'll keep them.

My dog wags happily when I open the bag and devours each treat I give him so he wholeheartedly approves!! He even woofed down these carrot & pumpkin Soft Bakes treats when he was not otherwise eating much because of an upset stomach/GI illness that was serious enough to require antibiotics. These treats are larger, ~ 1" x 1 1/2" x 3/8" in size, which is a good snack for a larger dog. You might need to cut or break them into pieces for a smaller dog. Note that these Soft Bakes are not as soft as expected; they are a little harder than scones, but still softer than other cookies. I hear crunching as he eats them, so if your dog cannot tolerate crunching because of dental (or other) issues, you should consider other treats. It's great that these treats are all-natural and made in the USA with simple, wholesome ingredients. They are expensive relative to other cookies but my dog loves them so much, it's worth it!!

Smell of the "soft" bakes is very nice and makes a human want to try them. Unfortunately, I bought them because my dog is 14yr old and he is starting to prefer softer foods. These were not soft at all. Hard as regular dog biscuits. So for that reason I gave the product 3 stars.

Although I am sure dogs like these treats, my dog didn't care for them. I was looking for a soft treat to give my dog after dental surgery, I found these Soft Bakes to be quite hard. When I tried to cut one of the treats into smaller pieces for my dog they just crumbled. Package arrived timely.

These are really great treats. The ingredients are excellent and my picky Toy Poodle loves them. They are pretty large (see photo), but easy to break into smaller pieces. I will definitely buy them again.

These are really huge, which I hadn't expected, so for small dogs you'll break it into about 10 treats - or this is about 1/3 of a meal. Our dogs love them though!
