Works great, smashed my thumb with the hammer trying to knock out the ball joints then bought this, should have bought this first popped them out and pressed the new ones in with such ease. Good quality for the price.

This product paid for itself within an hour of owning it, i had 2 very stuck torsion bar bushes on the front of restoration project, this tool popped them bolt out with the right setup and with ease. I went on to remove a rather rusty 52 year old suspension part to find i had to cut the original ball joint off (leaving a very rusty, very stuck bit of metal in it), i spent 2 days heating, hitting and trying to get it out... what got it out was this tool and i wish i used it to start with, wound it on in a vice and a few tightens later - it popped out. this tool was well worth the money and a great addition to any workshop / garage.

This worked just as it should! I'm no mechanic but this made removing the old ball joins and installing the new one a very easy job. I had more trouble removing old bolts than using this. It's a tool that I may not use again for many years but it saved me hundreds of pounds having the job done at a garage. Would definitely recommend. Good sturdy tool and case.

Does the job but be sure to use plenty of grease on the threads.

Nice heavy duty piece of kit. Removed stubborn old balljoints from 20 year old Iveco chassis cab and reinstalled new one. Tip: Tighten into place and shock the control arm of vehicle with heavy hammer blows as you gradually tighten the clamp and it will slowly let go and push out. Pushing new ball joint in was extremely easy. Simple to use. Quality far better than expected. Already paid for itself. Thumbs up from me .

Used this to remove and fit lower ball joints on my car. I also used this to compress the brake piston when putting the brakes back on, which although I'm not sure it was designed for, it did the job perfectly. Build quality is great, using it is a bit knacky, but once you work out which of the various bits that comes with it you need for a particular job you'll have no trouble. Pro tip: if you're struggling to remove a ball joint with this, put the nut back on the ball joint and then use this. You can also use a large socket to push on the ball joint. This will make sense when you have it in front of you. This isn't a fault with the press, it's just that not all ball joints are the same so you sometimes need to work around issues with things not quite fitting right. The tool itself did the job on the old ball joints without a workaround, but when I needed to pop the new one out again I needed to use these workarounds to do it.

Cheap but effective ! Used this tool to press out a ball joint from my W211 Merc E-Class ....... wouldnt budge with the tool alone, had to also use heat, but after that it popped right out ! New one pressed right in no problem !!mNot the best .... but not the worst !!! It works

Funktioniert einwandfrei. Am Fahrzeug selbst (Renaut Scenic rx4 Allrad) zu sperrig für das Traggelenk aber bei ausgebauten Querlenker perfekt. Gewinde vorher vielleicht etwas fetten. Für den Preis hervorragend für den Hobbyschrauber.
