Secret of the Time Tablets (Cleopatra in Space #3)

This third volume in the Cleopatra in Space series lives up the excitement introduced in the first two volumes. Once again, Cleopatra is out to take space by storm, but first she has to survive an attack by Octavian's fleet of ships. When she and her friends get separated, they set out to find the answers they set out to find on the planet of Hykosis. But they aren't that far ahead of Octavian and soon find themselves in more trouble than ever before. Maihack has created a really fun series with a great female lead. The other characters are important to the story, even seeming adversaries. The author even throws in some shocking twists that change the arc of the story in surprising ways. For young graphic novel aficionados this is a thoroughly engaging series with great characters and great plot twists. Highly recommended.

A lot of the puzzle pieces really start coming together in this one. Cleopatra just keeps getting better and better. And did I mention the amazing sets/locations? Some of these pages you could look at for days and days. Mr Maihack's work is as stunning as ever.

Arrived in excellent condition. My 10-year old daughter requested this series for her birthday and wasn’t disappointed.

My 9 year old daughter LOVES this series. She gets a (tiny) bit of history and sees a strong girl taking action; she even looks a bit like her! I love that she's found something that she is excited to read and it's not all princesses waiting to be saved. The graphic novel format also allows my younger daughter to flip thru the book and "read" it as well!

My daughter is a huge fan of this action series starring a time travelling Cleopatra who is more Lara Croft than your typical princess.

My daughter love the Cleopatra book 1 & 2, when she knew the 3rd book was out, she had to get it and finished the book in one day.

Outstanding novel with fantastic characters,brilliant plot and story arcs.It's soo tempting to just keep turning the pages...,but what about the art ?!Just dwell on the backgrounds and savour the detail.Shame about Akila's arm though,but we've got the shooting range challengeto look forward to.And the next big question - Ray gun or Stun blades ?The dynamic art of this series is really addictive...,woo hoo !I wonder what would have happened if Zaid hadn't taken a bulletand Cleo had to face the blast,could she have turned pink andabsorbed or deflected it ?Who would have thought though...,Gozi ?That revelation was a curve ball.So I'm looking forward to more blaster fights,mayhem and adventure.
