A technical marvel.
The book , The Patton Wreckers, is technically a well documented book, and would be a pleasure to read for anyone interested in military subjects. Well illustrated with diagrams, maps and data charts. I like it. Kudos to Kutub Hai for writing a book based on other's experiences and the military history of his Regiment, in a way that makes one proud of India's military might.

The colour Maps are the best that i have seen in any Military History book
The numerous colour deployment and battle maps in this book are better than the best western military history books that i have read.(And i am a prolific subscriber to the Osprey,Pen and Sword,Schiffer,Speciality Press,IsraDecal Military History books.)These maps have been specifically digitally designed to depict the precise deployment of 3Cavalry during this decisive battle .The narrative is crisp and the location names and geographical features in it,can very easily be found on these excellent colour maps. This enables the reader to very easily build up a 3 dimensional appreciation of the events as they unfold(almost as if it was a History Channel Military Campaign Documentary.) Some very good quality photos complete the effect. The large print is easy to read and the text, while it is not too tedious, does capture the thought process and style of leadership of the Commander,Lt Col Salim Caleb. It is not a comprehensive Unit History nor a detailed account of the 65 war,but a easy to understand depiction of a very decisive battle which had the potential to change the outcome of the entire war.It so happened that destiny(or the good foresight of the theatre commander and the tactical insight of the regimental commandant) placed 3 Cavalry at a pivotal position in this Tank Battle. It would be interesting to see how the Osprey "Centurion Vs Patton" book (which i have pre-ordered) compares to this book.I hope this is an indication that western military historians will start to take a fresh look at the 65 and 71 wars... and also our own publications coming up to and exceeding international standards.

Excellent and a must read book which gave a brief ...
Excellent and a must read book which gave a brief account of india's forgotten war veterans of 1965 and it's armoured war supremacy which cornered entire fleet of 'modern' Patton (US) tanks of Pakistan.

Stunning
The book is a very detailed account on the greatest tank battle in Indian history. It also shows how exemplary leadership can quickly turn the tide of a battle.

Its not a book..It's an epic
This book is written taking into account the actual happenings in the 1965 war with Pakistan. The author took active part in the war and is gracious enough to give credit to the actual dare devils right from the rank of a Sowar to the Field Marshal. The book has been richly splashed by actual photographs. Jai 3 Cavalry.

Saviours of Punjab
A very well documented book.People of this country have forgotten those great men who ensured that the people of this country see this day as free people. This has been shown in this book along with the professional prowess of the men of 3 CAV who came to be known as not only the saviours of Punjab but this nation, had they not done what they did, the history and geography of the subcontinent would have undergone a massive change.
