Bought this for the sole purpose of blocking out blue light.I have a Microsoft surface pro laptop, where I do not have a screen boarder and screen is made of glass and completely flat right to the edge (see pictures)I stuck this on using the double sided sticky tape provided and as you can see my screen was full of air bubbles, I removed, cleaned and tried again, no matter now much I tried to smooth out it just did not get rid of all the air bubble, as the double sided sticky tape is a few mm thick and sits on top of my screen and is between my filter, this filter will not sit flat against my laptop screen hence the air bubbles, so keep this in mind if you have a screen like mine.On top of that the glare I get from this filter is terrible, it looks like you have the sun shinning on your screen.I just could not use this and at £40 for all theses problems I had to return this.It took them 4 weeks to finally refund payment after numerous emails chasing for payment and being told each time that payment was going to be refunded the next day which did not happen.It was only after Amazon got involved that it was finally refunded.Bad filter, bad glare and after sales customer service not great either.Do not recommend

I spent almost £50 on this because it seemed to be a premium product, designed by optometrists which would block out blue light without affecting screen colours like night modes do and provide a crisp, clear display without the disadvantages of blue light.It does no such thing. I followed the instructions carefully but what you get is a much darker, duller, washed-out screen which is hard to see. It has much more of a negative effect than Windows own Night Mode.It's basically just a sheet of darkish-blue plastic which ruins your display. It doesn't even fit my 15.6" laptop screen exactly - there's a tiny 1mm gap at the top.I have never felt so angry or ripped-off about a product I have purchsed before. Avoid this rubbish at all costs!

I am in front of a screen most of the day for work an have noticed general tired eyes. After searching the internet, I found it could be too much blue light from my screen.I choose this filter as it has the easiest size instructions and filtered 90% of harmful blue light and this is medically-proven with an optometrist developing the product.Positives of the product:Packaging is really nice, solid and kept product safe with delivery.Good installation instructions, videos are also useful.Packaging is recyclable and sustainable.Extra film on the product so it is protected from scratch before application5) Two application methods, allows me to easily put on and off when I want.6) Image is VERY clear…no colour distortion.

I bought this as I noticed my eyesight was deteriorating rapidly from using my laptop (with monitor) a lot. I read up that the blue light emitted from the screen may have something to do with this, so bought this shield... Well, I've been amazed. I've noticed a big difference in how my eyes feel - just not tired or achy as they were before. It's just a plastic transparent sheet that lies over the screen (need to get the right size) - fits exactly and I haven't even had to stick it on as I'll also transfer it to the laptop screen when not using the monitor. Although this is smaller, it's not a problem - still rests on it Ok. So despite the expense, I'm really pleased I've bought this and thinking of getting one for my phone as well. In fact, the only reason I'm writing this review is to share and help others - I'm not affiliated to the company in any way!

Sadly this product did not work. Tried to at first use the semi permanent method to stick it on but the filter made my screen blurry because it didn't sit true to the screen and too dark (despite turning brightness to 100%) it just looked 'dirty'. So then tried the permanent stickers, but they were just awful, you can see them through the screen and simply blurred everything even more. Maybe I had a dud product or it just didn't work. Sent back immediately as suspected it was defective.

Absolute rubbish - don’t waste your time and money! Purchased this for my daughter to use on our 2012 MacBook Pro as she was suffering from really bad digital eye strain. Tried to fix it with the tabs so it was removable. It was difficult to get the screen to ‘slide’ in to place and when we did it was so bubbly underneath you couldn’t see the screen. So I tried to fix it with the adhesive strips only to have the same issue, I then had the problem of removing the glue from around the laptop!I can’t comment on how well the screen actually functions as fixing it on is impossible. A complete waste of £56.

Seller was contacted and asked a question. I have previously purchased products from this company over the years and found them to be good in responding. However, on this occasion a let down. The product appears fine. Very Pricey for what it is but as a returning customer have faith in their products. I wonder if the seller will get in contact over the review!I'll update this review if the seller contacts.

Easy to fit. Size was exact per the size chart. I could see that the light is duller/different. I fit mine as removable and possibly it is better fitted as permanent because as removable it lifts away from the screen slightly around the edges making it look dark. In some programs I struggle to see the x in the corner to shut the window down. I should point out though that my eyesight is extremely poor.Not used it for long enough to tell if it helps with my insomnia. I’m optimistic it will. It’s a lot of money to pay if it doesn’t.
