Old Timer OT Wood 7in High Carbon S.S. Spring Assisted Folding Knife with a 3in Drop Point Blade and Ironwood Handle for Outdoor

A little ago I wrote a seller's review about this knife and for some unknown reason I called it an Old Henry knife ( senior moment ) and my apologies. This is and incredible and well made knife and I would not hesitate to purchase again.

This is a nice-looking knife. Unfortunately, Old Timer knives aren’t made quite the way they used to be, and the price reflects that. For what you’re getting, though, this knife is priced very well. The fit and finish show some issues—there are visible tooling marks, and the blade isn’t perfectly centered and where the bolsters meet the wood are definitely not refined. On the positive side, it arrived very sharp. It carries well in the pocket, operates smoothly, and the lockup feels solid. Another plus is that there isn’t a large, in-your-face Old Timer logo on the blade as shown in the product photos, which I actually prefer. Overall, I would purchase this knife again at this price point. However, I’d gladly pay a bit more if Old Timer put a little extra effort into the fit and finish that used to define this classic knife.
