Not 1000 lumens
These are no where near the 1000 lumens advertised. I have a smaller light running on a 14650 battery at 500 lumens that is twice as bright and throws further - it also feels more solid. These lights are made of relatively light aluminum so I don't know how much hard use (i,e,. dropping) they will stand up to. The side button feels cheap, too. Will they prove durable over many thousands of presses? And there will be thousands - you must cycle through all modes to get from on to off. That means five presses every time you use it - high, low, strobe, side light and off every time. The beam focus is also very easy to move. If you adjust to a tight spot and then put it in your pocket, I guarantee the bezel will have slid back to flood when you pull it out again. The side light function is good for flooding a enclosed area but it's annoying have to cycle through it every time you use the light - it would be much better if only activated with a long press or something. The case containing everything is nice but there are no instruction or any other paperwork included at all.

Good flashlight
I like that the flashlight compact, multi light options and USB chargeable. The location of the on and off switch is not a good place. I figured out a way to make it work without turning on it on and off every time you grabbed a hold of the flashlight. If anyone wants to know my solution please feel free to email me.

First impressions not true 🤨
I really like the flashlights but the packaging needs work. The flashlights arrived in a very flimsy case that was not completely closed. When I opened the case, one of the flashlights top was unscrewed and the gasket was off. I was able to get the gasket back on and after a few tries I was able to align the lens to get the top back on. Once all the dust settled, I put the batteries in the flashlights and WOW what a brilliant beam of light both emitted. All settings were perfect 👌. All in all I was very impressed . I thought the build of the flashlights felt somewhat cheap but in defense, these are my first flashlights of this type so I can only go on my first impression. When I opened the package I was less than impressed but after a few minutes I was in awe of the power of the flashlights. Don’t be afraid of purchasing these flashlights 🔦 , they are terrific !!!

A great buy, but beware of the switch!
A compact light, very bright, with a lantern feature on its side. Comes two to a pack, with rechargable batteries, a micro USB port with a rubber cover, charging cables, and a padded carrying case. I fully charged them before use.I bought these flashlights because I wanted the features of a tactical flashlight but not the jagged head, which can tear through fabrics easily. These aren't for self defense, but work. I tossed one in my jacket pocket, but soon felt it heating up. The button switch is easy to turn on, which is what happened. A different type of switch would make this much safer.

Don't keep in your pocket.
PROS: Bright light, nice side lantern, appears durable. Rechargeable with built-in charger (uses micro-usb cable, included) Good value. CONS: Side button is easily triggered if you put the flashlight in your pocket -- use the belt clip instead. Must cycle through each option with every use. No sleeve for using AAA's. Neutral: I have no capability for accurately measuring lumens. I've not tried measuring the true capacity of the 18650 battery. There's a tiny charge-status led that may be blocked from view if you're using your own usb cable. Despite some cons, I like it.

Poorly designed switch poorly packed
These would be excellent lights if they had used a little forethought in designing the switch. A recessed one in the end of the tube would have been ideal. Even a recessed one on the side where it is would have been acceptable. However they made a switch that stands proud and is easily activated while in your pocket or anywhere else you might carry this light. This of course means that you may reach for it and the battery is dead just when you need it. A shame as otherwise this is a good light for the value. In a holster, laying on its side, in a pocket just about anything triggers the light. It is a very light force required. Amazon threw it in a overly large box with a dozen heavy casters so of course the plastic case was smashed beyond any use when I received it. Two twists of paper were hardly going to protect anything in such a large area! One of the lights came with a rubber cover for the USB charging port (a good feature) while the other did not.

Better than all the other cheap flashlights on Amazon
I bought these during Prime Day. I was going to get another one of the ones that you see under several different brand names, all with different claimed brightness (none of which are anywhere near accurate) but then I saw this one which caught my eye. I liked the fact that it had the side light. That is much much more useful for the average person than the SOS strobe that you give up by getting this instead of the other ones. Sure, these are smaller, and you aren't going to be knocking out an assailant with it. But you probably wouldn't with those other cheap ones either. So better to KNOW it and not even try. I'm not saying the others aren't useful, but this is definitely one to at least consider buying.

Dnt waste your cash
I dnt know what the 5 star reviews people leave on this light. Truly and honestly it's a generic light. I mean come on you get 2 for 15. If you want a really decent upgrade from this one go for a nebo or walmart brand . This is already giving me flicker problems.. spill is nasty with yellow Corona on the edges. The hotspot is square when focused all the way.. the batteries of course are ultra fires which automatically anything with fire at the end of it onn18650 batteries you should stay away from. These are really not the great theres a cool white to it which is almost decent but the second you tap or move these lights in a certain way the cheap spring in the barrel loses contact and it flickers.. I thought it was maybe a fluke with the one i had.. but the second one started doing that after i started using it... the case is. Cheap! The tabs broke off already and it's only been a week. I would highly suggest looking at olight..nitecore..lumintop.. more expensive but less hassle and better light output..but if u dnt want that price I would recommend nebo.. they have decent products
