OK for a beginners glove - not for sparring or heavy handed folks.
I have owned these glove for appox 1 year now so I feel I can give an honest review. Use: approx 5 hours per week doing pad work & bag work. I found the gloves were great to start but I have found that the padding across the knuckles was not that great (I always wrap my hands as well). I have also used them for light sparring but the padding is too thin so I no longer use them for this purpose. The hook and loop closure has started to fail and I find myself contantly re-attatching the wrap around my wrist. My biggest coplaint is the thumb part of the glove as it seems to always get caught or stove doing drills. I have had my other pair of gloves for longer and this has not been an issue.

Quality Gloves, Snug must break in. Not long finger friendly but very workable with break in.
Feels like professional gloves. Plenty of feed back which helps you place your shots but not have to hold back in fear of hurting your hands due to ample padding. Leather smells, So you know it's real. Inside comfortable as hell. Close fitting but after breaking in your hands settle right in. I have long fingers So only pet peeve I have is a slight bottom out on finger tips. Could use another 1/4 inch. But very workable. Color, Orange and Black looks real slick. Logo stamping wasn't crispy for those perfectionist. But the gloves are bomb. Would buy more if they had more colors.

Well crafted gloves and great protection. Good feedback as well.
Well crafted gloves and great protection. They may be a little on the smaller end as far as hand size go but they are perfect for me. (I'm a computer technician/ type a lot + I have smaller hands to begin with.) After about 5 to 6 hours of time on the gloves they have broken in well and I can't wait for a for the next few break in sessions. A little darker than the picture, they may actually be black but I really dont mind if they sent the wrong ones. Wrist support is on point and this is a great workout / bag glove that you can use everyday as far as I can see. Will definitely buy some higher end gloves if they come out with them. This brand is great.

Small fit
The gloves seem to be of excellent build quality, but they are WAY too tight. I tried both the 12oz and 14oz gloves. The 12s, I could barely get my hand into the glove. The 14s, I could, but once my hand was in, it was cutting off circulation. I am 6'0 and 185lbs, normal sized hands. I have noticed that a few other people have mentioned the same issue.Bottom line: just be aware that these are very tight!

These are excellent gloves, and for the money a great value
These are excellent gloves, and for the money a great value. They feel and look exceptionally well made, offer excellent good protection and are extremely comfortable. They have a muay thai design that (despite moving from boxing to martial arts) I was unfamiliar with. The difference is that the gloves themselves are just a bit less bulbous than traditional gloves, they open a little bit easier for clinching, and wrist is a little bit longer and has more padding than traditional gloves. It's not only great for checking kicks but also gives you more wrist support in general. Even for western boxing I much prefer the style. The only improvement I could suggest is making the inner lining completely flush with the padding, it comes a little bit loose. If you have any questions about any of this company's products, reach out on Facebook, they are unbelievably responsive. I was so impressed with their customer service and gloves I bought matching shin guards and am glad I did. Picking up some clothes from them as well.

Way better than expected!
You can’t beat the quality especially for the price. I have worn many types of boxing and Thai boxing gloves. You get very familiar with good ones and not so good ones The Anthem Athletics gloves definitely hit their mark in fit, feel (inside and outside) There are a ton of gloves out there to choose from and the higher cost doesn’t always mean higher quality. If you are just starting out in striking training or experienced and looking for gloves that will do the job sparring or for bag work these are a great option.

Good looking, comfortable, durable and doesn’t break the bank!
As a new amateur boxer preparing for my first amateur fight, my trainer recommended this brand to me, and everything I’ve gotten from them has been great. They are fast at answering questions and concerns, they shipped fast, and they are very knowledgeable about their sport. The gloves themselves are comfortable to wear, but are durable, haven’t had any breathability or smell issues, they’ve survived a lot of par and sparring time and have become my go to gloves out of the 2 pair that I own. And for the price there really isn’t any better quality out there without shelling out atleast twice as much as these cost. Comfortable, durable, they look great, and they are cost effective, all taken care of by people that seem genuinely interested in the sport and the fighters that buy their equipment.

Awesome glove for the price
I have the 16oz black on black gloves. I used these gloves primarily for heavy bag work. Right off the bat I noticed that they run small. The wrist area is a little tight slipping on and I feel it when I punch. I have had them a little over 2 weeks. So I know that they will loosen-up some and hopefully that will take care of that minor problem. Another minor problem is that there is loose material inside the glove at the finger tips. It can be annoying at times. The over all feel and quality of the glove as a whole is awesome for the price.
