It's witty, fun, and heartfelt, and the characters feel unique. My favorite is the teacher. The end felt a little anti-climatic to me, but overall I enjoyed it quite a bit. There was more to enjoy going back through it the second time.

If you're a bit of a paranormal geek like me, you'll appreciate this book with its references to vampires and werewolves (and cultural stereotypes about them). A colorful, fun story
Middle school can be a tumultuous time - navigating disagreements with friends, crushes, and tough teachers. Fake Blood is a cute, fun story that lovingly evokes those years with a few added twists. The artwork is fresh and colorful, I enjoyed the facial expressions. Although it's targeted at kids, the story has a positive message for both kids and adults without being too heavy-handed about it.

It was an amazing book but I recommend for a little bit of a morel older audience. It’s still an amazing book and deserves more publicity and recognition.

Excellent read!
I ended up reading this with my daughters and we all really loved it. The art is great and the writing always feels natural. Can’t wait for more from it’s creator.

Easy, fast read.
Great, easy read for anyone age 12 up. My daughter read it for a book club and loved it. She finished it with a couple of hours.
