My three daughters absolutely loved it, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it for them. It was hilarious, conversational, written in the voice of a child who is mischievous yet innocent and very intelligent

This book is brilliant! Izzy and her friends are hilarious and very much like real children.(I should know, I am one)

Our daughter owns a few more books in this series and has asked for the other ones. She is an enthusiastic reader so we typically hand her new books on a regular basis, mostly as gifts on special occasions. This book is probably for a somewhat younger audience. But if she enjoys reading them, that is fine. And she can then pass then on to her younger brother at a later stage.However I should say that I’m not a big fan of these books that filled with basic black and white illustrations and where its more about overall style than narrative. There is large caps text on many pages. And the font type is large. So most children will be able to read the full book in just a couple of sessions.Apparently the books are really entertaining for children of that age. But while these books are good for children to do their own reading, they are a bit tedious for parents that want to use them for guided reading or to read them to their children.Lastly, while the around 5 GBP we paid for this soft cover book is not that expensive, looking backward it would have been far more cost-efficient to buy the boxed collection - we are now ending up paying more than double the price to get the collection complete.

Im 8 and im on my mums kindle and i read this book and i laughed out loud i recommed getting the full series of Izzy and her friends Zach,Maisie,Jodi pamela butchart is now my favorite author it used to be Jacqueline wilson (i recommend reading Jacqueline wilsons books too) but pamela butchart has taken the crown hehehe. I hope you enjoy reading this book because i sure did

Afraid this one went straight into charity bag , flicking through found the writing style quite irritating - annoying rambling dialogue from main character who apparently never stops talking, but with limited dumbed down vocab, and who starts every other sentence with 'anyway, ..' grated very quickly in it's repetitiveness. Not sure how this got onto recommended reading list for year 3.

We run a book club for children and I’m so glad I picked this book to read. I love the story, the humour and the character in the book. The children who read this book were 7-8 years old and I would say it is perfect for their age. They all enjoyed it and the story line was fun for them.

Have bought this for my 7 year old daughter and then for several friends for their birthdays. My daughter reads them on her own, but they're also good for reading together and my 4 year old loves them too. We've now bought others in the series, and all are hilariously funny. I can't recommend Pamela Butchart enough, these books are fantastic!
