Healthy great substitute for plain rice
Great quality rice and grains love the idea that im not just each plain white rice, but instead making multi grain rice that healthy, tastes good and no added cooking and measuring time! I just put it in the rice maker the same way i would with plain rice. love the fact that i dont have to buy and store bags of all the different types of grains that are included. It tastes just like regular white rice so i just use it like i normally would with plain whit rice. Great idea! thanks for making my family’s dinners healthier with no added time and money

Buy it
It’s great mix of grains . I did 1 grain mix to 2 short rice ratio instead of recommended ratio . I love the flavor . Even tho galbitang ( found recipe online) Korean soup usually served with white rice , we made it with mixed rice . We enjoyed this meal .

Cooks very well
Perfect. Has a slight nutty taste. I used 1 cup of white rice to 1/4 cup of multigrain. Washed, added 2 cups of water. Soaked for 30 mins before cooking. The texture is great and tastes good. Looks more “purple” in person than the photo.

Not the easiest but a good mix
**update** So, after several more experiments, I have determined the best way to prevent the purple stain. It is NOT for the faint of heart. You can still blend the rice per the instructions but, I'd advise using the stove/cooktop. Bring to a boil, preferably with plenty of liquid. And then reduce to simmer. While still simmering, use a large ladle and scoop out purple tinted water, and discard. Refill pot with fresh, clear, cool water, let simmer or bring to boil (if you think you can handle it), and repeat. Eventually, it will remain translucent. Don't fill the pot too high with water bc it will already be partially cooked. I still maintain that this is extremely time consuming and requires meticulous care. If you want easy for family dinners or meal prep, then partial cooking may be necessary ahead of time. I still honestly can't fully endorse this mix, but it is still quite tasty. **5/15/25** Whichever of the grains is leaking purple, it is super annoying. And no matter how little water I use, it always ends up a disgusting soggy mess; not appealing stickiness. I'm trying to figure out a balance, but it is exhausting. Otherwise, it's not bad taste wise, and has a good mix. I'll have to trust that these are all healthy for me (as opposed to in general) bc I have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities. Decent value.
