Trigger 4 Plus Wireless Accessory Controller 4-Switch Relay System - Bluetooth - 2100

Using this on my 2020 Ram 1500. Was easy to install and very useful in my opinion. This switch was great because the wiring all stays inside the hood nothing to wire through the firewall because the trigger is a wireless system. I have ditch lights, lightbar & grill lights connected to mine. And I actually don't even use the wireless switch it came with (Which BTW works flawless when i've used it). What I use is the App (downloaded for free) for my apple phone which I control my lights from. So i can control my lights from my phone inside or outside of the truck. Has features like light strobe where you can strobe anything you connect to it. I've used it out in the middle of no where to find friends and works like a champ! Have had this on my truck for a little over a year and they have been flawless. Works every time and have had no issues connecting different brand lights to it. Purchased this because I added a set of hood/ditch lights to my truck and didn't have room to run another set of wires inside the cab (I had 2 previous wiring harnesses for 2 other lights already installed). Decided to buy this and I am glad I did. I reconfigured my previous lights to work with this Trigger 2100 and wired my new lights with ease. Just three wires were needed to power the unit (Positive, ground, and a trigger wire wired to ignition only fuse via a fuse tap (Fuse tap not included). The only real con I had was the supplied wires were long, which could be a good thing depending on your setup. I ended up using hook and loop tape to mount the Trigger system to the top of my fuse box. Switches are great. They are like a rocker type switch and "click" when pressed on or off, so you know by feel if they changed mode or not. Also control via the APP is awesome. With the app you can set the lights to strobe or even dim them if you want. I thought that was a cool feature. This trigger plus system is a great alternative to other "pod" type setups.

The unit seems straightforward enough. Main body with a ground, hot and ignition wire to attach. After installing correctly, the unit would not come on. It was very frustrating because it was after hours and I couldn't call tech support and was second guessing all of my crimping and connections. Turns out the unit had some specific resetting protocols that I received from tech support the next day which included holding down buttons while reconnecting wires in a specific sequence. It did the trick. The remote unit is very cheaply made. Just trying to fit the batteries correctly was maddening. When I could finally get them in, they were dead on arrival. Also it is not made to really velcro or attach to a flat surface. The magnetic base has a concave back that's made to fit to a rounded pipe shaped surface. The accessory plugs and wiring for your added lights etc are very well made and the app on my phone works well. So it functions correctly but the install is quirky and not liking the toggle switches. The support techs were excellent and picked up the phone right away. That surprised me the most.

This was very easy to install. I put it on a 2020 rav4 on top of the fuse box. I wired my yellow straight to the positive since I don’t store my vehicle for more than a couple days. The remote works perfect and the app seems to run great for me. Definitely worth the investment if you don’t want to worry about getting through your firewall and wiring a switch!

This would be a great product but unfortunately the remote is horrible and only works about 25% of the time. Plus their customer service is horrible. I sent the remote in for repair or replacement and all they did was send me back the same useless remote with no fix or explanation. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this product or this company.

Easy install, love that it is wireless and has a android app

Works entirely as advertised, but the switches are the cheapest feeling plastic crap I’ve ever felt and the batteries included were dead on arrival so I wasted diagnosis time. Customer service stopped responding when I tried to address the not only cheap switches, but one of them also not functioning with positive clocks like the rest. Crickets after that last message I sent. The switches take so much effort they pop out of their magnetic holder frequently, not good when off road at night. If I hadn’t ordered a custom bracket specific for the Trigger for my vehicle I would have already returned it.

Super awesome product, and well worth every penny. The only down side is the switch leds do not stay lit when you turn it on. Apparently its only on the 6 shooter and I missed reading that part so that was my bad. Other than that install was super easy and straight forward. Installed ditch lights, chase lights, and two light bars in the front all from CaliRaised LEDs. Highly recommended!
