Feiss P1145BS Parker Place Pendant Lighting, Satin Nickel, 1-Light (8"Dia x 11"H) 100watts

There are umpteen similar pendant lights on the market, all just slightly different in one way or another. This one is a deep, even brown and is better made than some. I particularly like that the ceiling disc is relatively flat and that it hangs from a matching pole rather than a cord. My ceiling is angled and it really looks nice. I am using it in the entry stairwell of my small 1959 modern house. It has slight industrial vibe in this application although I am sure it would look just as good with 1920s vintage. The inside of the shade is white which reflects a lot of light. It does not have a glass lens. I have a 40 watt comparable warm LED in it and it may be a bit too bright as those bulbs are always brighter than advertised. (Compare the lumens, not the watts)

I really like the look of these pendants (I bought two which are hanging over my large kitchen island). The size is perfect, and they are really attractive and appear to be well made. My only 'complaint' is that the insides of the pendants are painted a bright white, so the light appears much whiter than I would like -- despite using incandescent bulbs, the light reflecting off the white interior reads very bright and almost florescent. I have them on dimmers, so I can control the brightness to some extent, but not the temperature of the light.) For that reason, they are more decorative to me than functional, since I prefer soft/warm light than cool light.(I was told that the reason they have to coat the inside of metal light fixtures to avoid a strange glow; not sure myself since I don't recall ever seeing steel lighting in use before.)

Medium quality piece. Nothing wrong with them, just kind of plain. My fault for picking them out online instead of in person. We hung them up and we will keep them, but not quite as nice as my imagination. :)

So beautiful, and great quality. Came with three rods and work on a vaulted ceiling. I bought two of them for a kitchen island from a lighting store. My contractor asked me to get one more. Because he needed it quickly I looked on Amazon because I knew I could get it in two days and low and behold they had an open boxed fixture. Not only did it save me $75 over what I paid in the lighting store who sold this fixture to me at a supposed 40% discount, but it was in perfect condition and now that it is up there is no way you could possibly tell which was the open box item. Love this item. I am using dimable 100 watt equivalent LED bulb it works beautifully.

These arrived on time as expected. Yes, they are made in China. The materials and workmanship are very good. We were completely remodeling the kitchen and these 3 were for over the new island. They look great. The electrician had no problem installing them. All hardware and wiring were included. They call for the now illegal and evil 100 watt light bulb :-) but work great on a dimmer as well. We are happy customers.

Really nice looking over my kitchen sink. It gives an industrial look without being over the top. I put in an ikea led clear bulb that casts a nice warm dimmable light. Some people have found that the shade's inner paint caused the light to be too cool. However using the ikea led warm 2700k bulb seems perfect. Super energy efficient too!

These lights are classy and elegant with an industrial edge. We have 3 hung over our kitchen island and couldn't be happier. We are using dim able LED soft white bulbs which work great!! They give off a lot of light (not just dim ambiance lighting). Love them!
