FABULOUS INEXPENSIVE FIX
These work great! The price is extremely reasonable and custom orthodics are hundreds of dollars ($600) for me. I do have custom ones but these are just wonderful so I wear these as well. It gets so tiresome moving orthodics from shoe to shoe. These took all of my pain away. I'm EXTREMELY happy with them. I have several Spenco Thinsole $14 Size 2 is 7-8 women size (full arch supports) I keep in numerous shoes. Throw on the PediFix on my foot and I'm good to go. This leaves me with options that all work. What a relief.

no longevity
I was only able to used this product a few times. I roller skate for exercise and I stand a lot at work the first few times I used it at work and in my skates it helped the pain in my Sesamoids. After that the foam started to flatten out, and eventually became no help at all. For the price I'd expect it to last more than a few uses. There are plenty of foams out there the manufacture could have used that would hold up better......

helps most of any i've got on amazon
for the price, I could make my own and I believe they should offer a replacement warranty or make a better quality as this is the material of a sock. Being a waiter and wearing this four days a week for long shifts, it wears quickly. I am thinking of making my own and is it worn down and almost useless. I also have to tape it in place as it is loose to make sure it does not move, to properly prevent pain. Maybe I got too big of a size?It works great in combination with arch support to keep me off of the ball of my foot!

Perfect product for any sesamoid pain!!!
I am a dancer and I had a sesamoid fracture and then sesamoiditis. This pad was the only thing that helped, after being stuck in a boot and after several other treatments. It can be put into any shoe and provides the perfect relief. I have bought 6 already! They do wear down everntually, but I'm harder on my feet than most! This is perfect for what you need if you have any sesamoiditis problems!

Worked at first.
I want to begin by saying that this product is exactly what I needed, for the first week. After that, the padding flattened out and barely helps at all anymore. I use it while I play sports, which may be more than it is meant to be used for but it should still last more than a week. I'll be looking for something that is more durable.

Worked for Me. Very Happy!
This helped immensely when I was dealing with some acute sesamoiditis. The padding is in just the right place to let your big toe float somewhat freely without contacting the floor or bending at weird angles which would exacerbate the pain. After a couple of weeks in this unit, I was back to normal.

Best remedy for sesamoiditis so far
Been going to the podiatrist for months with plantar facsciitis but no heel pain, just ball of foot pain (sesamoiditis) and also plantar warts. Seems he was mainly concerned with treating my warts because all I got for the fasciitis was a few shots and VERY expensive orthotics ($400!). Every two weeks coming back. Well, I finally managed to clearly explain that I was still suffering on the ball of my feet, mostly the left. He mentioned the word sesamoiditis but made no prescription. I remembered this word and went home and hit Amazon. Reviewed everything and decided this was the best product for me.Well, I have 10.5 E foot and it fits great, snug and doesn't choke my large toe, doesn't shift around (at least on my foot) like other products have been reported to do. Also, the pad is shaped to fit around the big toe joint (sesamoid bone) and level the foot and take pressure off the ball. It really made a huge difference for me. I don't get sore feet after 5 minutes of standing. I can walk again, yea!My complaints are: 1) it is pretty darn expensive!!! Way too much in my opinion. Lower the price please! 2) it is synthetic, so it makes your foot hot and sweaty, especially in the hot climate of Dallas, TX. I don't normally sweat a lot, but I have to wash it every couple of wearings in the sink. It comes clean nicely and I either toss it in the dryer for a little bit or let it air dry. So I need to buy a few more but at these prices it's a bit of a budget buster. But if you want relief from painful sesamoiditis, try this out. I think you'll like it. I am thinking of trying this other brand but I can say this one is great overall.
