Wood Gymnastic Olympic Rings for Crossfit - Pair
Item exactly as shown in the main picture as of (5/14/13). These wooden rings came nice and smooth and needed no extra sanding. They are very sturdy. The straps are very long and are also very sturdy. The buckle holds me well at 180 lbs and does not slip at all. I would highly recommend buying these rings over some cheaper ones. Spend the extra $20 - $30 and you will be satisfied. You can't beat having a lifetime warranty as well.

Tough, high quality construction
These are awesome! Mine are hung in my garage for doing body weight exercises. I am not a crossfit enthusiast, but I wanted something to help intensify regular body weight workouts. These rings are great because they adjust quickly and the mechanism that holds them in place never slips. The straps are super long and allow you to adjust the height from a very tall ceiling to the floor. The smooth wood ring can be a tad slippery at times, but that's not a bad thing really. It forces me to strengthen my grip.As a side note, my daughters love them as a jungle gym.

Don't think twice..
If you are on the fence about whether or not to spend a little extra money on these high quality wood rings, I am here to tell you that it is worth the extra money. The rings feel great in my hands and they are very easy to grip. I was going to go with the less expensive plastic rings to save a little money but I am very glad that I didn't. The straps are long and very easy to adjust. 5/5 product!

Added challenge to the work-out routine
A great addition to the home gym, my rings are suspended from a pull-up rig in my garage ceiling.Setup was easy enough once you have secure anchor points for the straps; just run each of the ends through the securing buckles and adjust the height to your preference. I typically wear weight lifting gloves while working out, but the wooden rings are just as comfortable to grip barehanded. As far as the body-weight workouts, everything is harder when you add the balance factor in. Google "Ring workouts" for a list of exercises.Make sure you have a place to anchor the straps from either a free-standing structure, or building framing. I have a 6-foot (72") length of 1-1/2 in. x 14-Gauge Zinc-Plated Slotted Angle bracket run perpendicular to the joists; bracket is secured with 3 carriage bolts from the attic above, butted up to (not through) the 2x10 framing. The ring straps are run through eye bolts descending down from the bracket holes. Assuming you have a drill and a ladder, the hardware itself will probably only run you about $25 at Home Depot.

Great buy
You can't beat these rings for the price. I had read reviews of other wooden rings around the same price range and it sounded like most people complained about the cheap material the rings were constructed of. Not an issue with these ones. They're made of solid wood which makes for a great grip and durability. I've only had them for a couple months, but I can tell they're gonna last. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Can't say enough about these rings
I've used these at the box I train at, and decided to get them for home. I loved them at the box and love them at the house.I have them attached to a 'stud pullup bar' and they work perfectly. The only issue I have is the size of my garage, which this product couldn't fix, nor did it say it could.
