Tiffen 67mm 6 Point Star Filter

I love using this filter, it is especially great with night photography and works well in foggy well lit areas!! Good thing I suggest doing for anyone with multiple lenses is finding a size where you are able to get a step down adapter e.g(52mm-49mm) so u can use it on any lenses with those two sizes. Isn't the best during the day, really shines at night or in a dimly light area with lights (store sign, gas station, car headlights, etc.). Overall highly satisfied with my purchase, another combo I suggest is stacking an Adjustable ND filter on top, thank me later.

I am rebuilding my photographic equipment inventory after a long time absence from photography. Although a bit pricey, Tiffen filters are my first choice. This one is another great product The threads fit smoothly and nicely into my Sony lens and the rotating part of the filter operates smoothlly and easily with no unexpected movement once you stop turning it for effect. After snapping the picture, removing the filter is equally smooth and effortless. This is an excellent product and my only concern is the cost of Tiffen quality stretches my budget a bit more than I'd like. There could be some less expensive alternatives, but I haven't found any.

You get what you pay for, and this is probably no exception. Knowing that I would just be using this filter on a handful of shots during a recent vacation I refused to pay a premium for other brands' filters. This one got the job done, but had some quality issues. The glass was loose in the frame, and the threads needed extra attention to properly align.

This is the BEST bottle cutter on the market. I use it about once every 2 weeks, and cut at least 40 bottles each time. The cuts are straight. It's easy to use, reasonably priced and easy to clean. Love this product!

This lens filter is good as it screws in nicely and seems well made. The star is larger than I expected, almost dominating the picture in some cases. There is also a lot of netting which means that I really have to zoom in order to get rid of the netting effect from the lens. Otherwise it is a good special effects filter to have and has helped create some good sunset and portrait shots.

An ok filter, but I find that the lines in the glass that create the star affect are very fine and the created affect is very fine as well. I also found that a tripod is almost required to get the proper affect. Tried it by hand a got a blurred mess. My 30 year old filter from a different vendor was much easier to use.

The filter is made very well. I like that it is made in two pieces so that the star pattern creating grid can be rotated while the base ring stays firmly threaded into the camera. I haven't used the filter much yet but the star patterns I get on single lights at night are uniform and sharp.

Using a Canon EOS2000 with this filter and my results are really good. I have purchased, worked with and RETURNED several other brands because I couldn't make them work. When I did the exact same set up with the Tiffen brand filter, it worked exactly as it was supposed to. I will definitely not be returning this one.

It arrived on time. Used it taking pictures of christmas lights and it gave them a different perspective. Would purchase again
