If you like boxing or fighting
If your a general fan of boxing or even something like wwe or mma you would like this game. I was not the slightest fan of boxing but I liked to watch wrestling. Champion Mode my father bought this game for his playstation and after playing the champion mode, although its very scripted and spent have much options, you get in golfed into the story and ultimately start to care about what happens I even started watching the scenes, overall great story similar to the rocky movies. Fight Now Easily the most fun mode in the game aside from online. How fun it is to play the CPU, even more fun is to play with multiple friends and have a tournament. With the wide arrangement of boxers at your disposal to the bloody and slightly disturbing bare knuckles mode. Legacy Mode Legacy mode is one of the few Low points of the game, it's not much different from fight night round 4. But it's still very addictive. With legacy mode you can choose your favorite boxers in the game already, use one of your already created boxers, or create a new character from scratch right there. As you use your boxer, you start in an amateur tournament, then get to the professional boxing world where you then start to fight people to get Xperia to build your boxers attributes. You climb through the ranks from amateur to G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). But to get there you have to be extremely good at the game and also put a lot of time into it Online Online is basically what we all expected but with a new gym system, where you can spar and have tournaments amongst your gym members, not much to say for online Overall Fight night champion is by far the best boxing game to date, graphically one of the best games I've ever seen. The boxers look almost identical to their real life counter parts

Crazy
Overall, this is the best boxing game ever made. I will break it down for you. PROS 1. Amazing controls that allow you to hit in a number of different ways very intricately and precisely. Does not get boring quickly. 2. Graphics are insane. They did an unreal job of the graphics while playing. Crisp detail. 3. Story is interesting and it gives you a number of different venues. 4. Multiple ways to play. Champion mode, Legacy mode, and online. 5. VERY challenging fights. Every fight is different and they throw in little twists to keep the game fresh in Champ mode. CONS 1. The videos for cut scenes and story lines are pretty choppy I'm not going to lie. It's kinda disappointing and strange at the same time. The in game graphics and smoothness blow the videos away. Not so bad that your getting dizzy but I will admit there were some videos that got pretty choppy. 2. In champ mode they just throw you into the mix. They never formally teach you the best way to throw punches and how. As you progress you realize your way behind the 8 ball in fighting and it's kind of up to you to figure out the best way to fight. They give you little tips before the fight on how to beat the opponent which is all well and good but you still need to execute. Overall great game. Hope this helped.

BEST FIGHT NIGHT EVER MADE!!!
Fight Night Champion, is by far the best boxing game ever created. The game was made with detail as each fighter looks like the ACTUAL fighter. Fight Night Champion's campaign is what makes this Fight Night different from others. I'm very pleased with the M rating, since it allowed this game to open up to a whole other level. Once I put the game in I was just blown away with the graphics and game play. It puts you immediately in the campaign which was different but got me hooked the minute it started. Fight Night Champion has a large selection of fighters, something I thoroughly enjoyed bringing up old fighters and new upcoming fighters. The Online game play is NOT laggy at ALL. That must be one of my favorite things. Fighting against someone else online couldn't be smoother. The ONLY thing I found confusing and a LITTLE disappointing was how in the BANTAMWEIGHT class, you only have 1 fighter to choose from (Nonito Donaire). To use him, you would need to fight a different weight class as it's only him in his class, BUT that doesn't take away from a game that was made for Boxing fans that brought me TO a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. If you LIKE boxing this game is for you. If you like graphics, fighting, details and a great Campaign mode then this game IS FOR YOU :D!.

Surprised. I love it
After hearing many questionable reviews I choose to hold off initially from purchasing the game. I am however happy that I didn't wait too long. In my opinion there's been a very big lull in games that have interested me this year. Even though people claim it can get boring fast I just don't see it. First off I do think you have to be at least a casual boxing fan to fully appriciate the game. Being mostly an MMA fan and enjoying ufc 2010 and EA MMA I can say you'll realize just how bad the striking is in those games when you play FNC. Obviously FNC should excel over these games, but mechanics and gameplay are great. I honestly wasn't into it from just playing the demo. While I'd like to see more game modes, it is after all boxing and there's only so much you can do (this game does have more features compared to EA MMA). I can't complain. You'll fly by champion on easy, so I'd say start on normal at least until you get frustrated with Hayes or Frost. The legacy mode does feel very similar to EA MMA but a little improved. There are many venues, graphics/controls are steller, and gameplay is great in my opinion. Will you get bored of this game? There's never been a fighting, sports, or sandbox game that's not eventually gotten old after awhile. I just don't see how people are saying that this game is not worth the money because of it's lack of depth. I will honestly probably get a solid 2 months of enjoying this game. To me that's worth the $40 bucks I paid for it.....Don't forget to buy it new if you want to play online. Forgot EA is charging $10 for an online pass.

This is an awesome game. I just wish the story mode was better.
I bought this game so I could download a created Rocky Balboa character and also fight as past boxing greats such as Joe Frazier. The rise to the top mode (or whatever it is called) where you chose a fighter and have him work his way to the top is fun. The mode does have a huge drawback though. Once you win the title the game places you in boxing purgatory where you can't go anywhere else and you are stuck fighting the same 2 or 3 fighters all the time. The controls are also a bit tricky to get a good grasp of until you have fought 5 or 6 times and get used to them. The game can be frustrating at times. While most opponents will go toe to toe with you in the ring, there are a lot of other boxers who seem to be able to block anything. You will get frustrated and waste your stamina trying to knock them out quick or even by just trying to hit them. Your best strategy with these fighters would be to dodge their punches and try to wear them out and hit them as often as you can. But don't let them knock you down too much because if they knock you down twice it is almost impossible to get up off of the mat.

The controls keeps getting easier.
The controls on this one is more intuitive compare to the previous ones. Very easy to adjust if you are willing. If you are a button person, buttons can be used for punching. If you like the analog for punching, they have made a great improvement in where you don't even need to do circular motions for punches. Just tap the analog to the position for the type of punch you want. Then you have the power button in where you can give a harder jab, hook, uppercut, etc. So really, they made it easier for everyone, except for the people that are too used to the old controls that can't adapt and overcome. The graphics improved a tiny bit compared to FN4. Flash knockouts are a treat cause it surprises you cause it happens so fast like if you were watching a Pay Per View event. The only real gripe I have about it is they should bring back the blocking high and low instead of just block timing. Oh, and don't keep pressing the button or you will have extra punches cause there seems to be a memory buffer. If you do a one and one two punches, you have better control. Overall, its fun and exciting even if you lose, you still get a sense of feeling that it was a good fight. This is the best boxing simulation. Real boxing combos and techniques works on this game superbly.
