LOFTEK RGB LED Flood Light, Proto 10W Outdoor light, Waterproof IP65 Spotlight, 16 Colors Changing and 4 Modes with Remote Control

I got 2 of these lights around Halloween (2 months ago) and set them up in my yard. I loved these at first, the colors are strong and bright and I love the fade mode. Unfortunately one of them has already crapped out. I noticed it was taking a second or two longer to flick on at night, and then a couple nights later it just didn't come on at all. I checked it out and not only was there water under the lens, a worm had managed to get in there. I don't generally take that as a good indication for a light that is supposedly "waterproof." I cleaned it out and let it dry completely for two days before I tried plugging it in again but still no luck - it's completely dead.I haven't noticed any problems with the 2nd light yet, so far it seems to be working fine and the colors are just as nice looking as they were when I first set it up. These would probably work great indoors but despite what the description says, they are not "waterproof" and I don't recommend them for outdoor use.UPDATE 3/24/2015:Despite the fact that 1 out of the 2 of these lights I bought crapped out relatively fast, the second one is still going strong. It still works like it is supposed to and it still looks good. That being said; I'm still unsure if I will order this brand again. I'll probably try a few different ones before I would buy another one of these because 1 out of 2 isnt great odds.UPDATE 2/25/2016: Adding another star because that second LOFTEK light I bought a couple years ago is still working perfectly. I have it connected to a timer in my backyard and it is on every night for at least 8 hours. Still bright, the colors are still lovely, and I can still change the colors with the remote.

I love the idea of these things but out of an order of three, 1 each of the 10w, 20w and 30w. I'm down to one working in only three days since I received them(the 10w). the 30w stopped working after only a few mins the day I got it! the 20w lost the blue the second night I turned it on. I ordered two more 10w and 0ne more 30w but my wife wants me to return them all and call it a wash. they are so cool and functional with a reasonable price but if they're not going to work what's the point? I'm holding out hope but its not looking good will update soon with the final determination but right now two stars seems appropriate unfortunately.update: I raised my review from 2 stars to 4 because the returns went well, and so far I never had any problems with the 10 watt models, and the replacement 30 watt is still working. I picked another 10 watt to replace the 20 watt because the application I was using them for the 10 watt was more than sufficient. I must say they are BRIGHT! I would recommend the 10 watt for localized use up to 10 feet, and the 30 watt about 50 feet. these colors are deep and vibrant. I really hope these last a while, if they do I will buy more, the price and the functionality are awesome, the only question is reliability.

Works just as advertised although you may want to pay attention to the way a color change LED operates when considering how bright it will be. This is advertised as a 10W lamp which should generally be the equivalent in light output of a 75-90W incandescent lamp and in white mode, it probably is close to that. But the way this light makes different colors is that it is actually three LED emitters in one chip and each is roughly 3W so when you have it set to red, for example, the green and blue emitters are off and the light output is about the equivalent of a 40W incandescent lamp.I guess that is a long way of saying, this lamp is not as bright as you might expect it to be given the wattage and if you need a really bright light source, consider the 30W version.One other random note on this light: the remote for my Roku will turn it on and off...

I bought three floodlights to illuminate my garden at night for decoration. And I have bought it about 3 months ago (July, 2013). This is my impression as below:Pros:The quality of the floodlight is brilliant. Its shell makes me feel solid and reliable. It seems like a brand new floodlight after consecutive using about two months. And it showed great CE because it showed that it can survive from sprinkler's watering and pouring rain. Refer to its IP65, it's so practical for outdoors.It also demonstrated quite well the feature of the power saving. Up to its wattage, it will cost less consumptionCons:The remote control was working all right, but one of the floodlights did not have a remembering function, I contact customer service to look into the issue , they have two visions about light , one is less flash modes and more brightness levels. Support memory when power off. The other one is with more flash modes, support power off reset function. She said buyer can choose version before buying on condition note, but I did not notice that.Overall, I do not care about memory feature, so I take 5 stars to this light and recommend it , if you care it , please pay attention to check the note when you buy it. By the way, the professional customer service from Loftek impression me deeply!Hope my review can advise more buyers.

I bought 3 sets for Halloween. All sets are on one timer. The 10 watts do not retain memory, while the 20 watts does. Although I love the lights, I cannot run around the yard reprogramming. Sadly, some will be going back.

I like these lights! Since the transformers are built the light you do not need to install a low voltage transformer with added expense. You can change the color with a wireless remote control to whatever fits your mood. Holidays, Special Events, or just have fun messing with your spouse on occasion.... I have 4 of these and a 50 watt light for lighting the front of my house and it looks great. I have made an inexpensive base using paint can lids and a little ingenuity by drilling holes and using a couple of nuts and bolts to support the light. I use mulch/Pine bark to cover the lid and it looks nice and clean. One other thing I do is spray lithium grease into the connections on the extension cords so they don't corrode. It really helps!!! I highly recommend these lights!

It's smaller than I thought it would be. It's well made but it will not do the whole wall that I needed. You will need to attach it to a piece of wood to sit it on the ground to light a wall. I love the unit but I would have gotten a bigger one. I will use this to light up my fountain this summer.

Ordered 2, one of which was defective. Received replacement from Amazon (very easy process) however replacement was also defective. Third time was the charm. Should have purchased the 20w version as the illumination I was hoping for on the sign is a little faint. Like the multiple colour and strobe features.

Does not work made in China . I should have known better. Turned it on for 30 seconds only . Tried it again and it was pooched.The driver for this is rated for 50 hertz so u will have issues in North America.i wired in a different driver and managed to get it working. Do not buy this, stay away and save your cash find a proper one.. One star because delivery delivery was good.

Great light, I use it at a security light, and since it's only 10w I leave it on all night... The 10w isn't super bright, so if ur light a large area, go with the 20 or 30w

Internal power supply is 12v x 300 ma = 3.6 watts. The LED light will only pump out 3.6 watts if it's white mode. In single colour mode, max is only 1.2 watts. I bought 5 of these to use for outdoor Christmas lighting, opened the box and plugged them in yesterday and 4 of them failed within an hour. Too late to return.
