Really Works
Surprisingly this works really well! Very simple and reliable - no phantom false readings that you get with electric ones. Best tool for this I have used!

A great stud finder!
I’m so glad I bought this. It really works great…especially on textured walls. I could have saved myself a lot of headaches and money if I had bought this one instead of the battery operated one I got from Walmart. What a waste of time and money. That’s another thing that’s great about this little gadget. It doesn’t need batteries.

No brainer
This is hands-down the simplest and most reliable stud finder I’ve ever used. No batteries, no calibration, no false readings—just works. The strong magnet snaps right to the stud screw, and the visual and audible click make it incredibly satisfying and foolproof.

Simple, but impressive!
Ok. We just rented a house with all plaster walls and I couldn't find a stud anywhere with my magnet or my stud finder. I came across this on Amazon, read the reviews, and thought I'd give it a try. This product is no joke, I literally found the first nail in the first stud within the 7 seconds it says it would find one, when my other tools and methods failed for over an hour. Such a simple product yet incredibly helpful. Last night I put at least 12 2" screws in the wall, and 2 nails, and I never missed a stud, not one! I would recommend this product to anyone for any type of wall, drywall, plaster, tile, etc... Best product I've bought in a while that does what it says it'll do!

Everyone needs one
This studfinder isn't fancy or electronic and just works exactly as it should. It's so good that mine keeps getting swiped from my toolbox. So I'm ready to buy a third one as my first two have been claimed by others.

Decent, But Slower Than Expected
I had high hopes for the StudPoP® "Original", but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. While it does eventually find metal fasteners in studs, it's not as quick or effortless as advertised. You have to move it slowly and carefully across the surface, which makes it less efficient than other stud finders I’ve used. That said, it does work once you find the right spot, and I appreciate that it doesn’t require batteries. However, if you’re looking for fast, reliable stud detection, you might want to consider other options.
