Showed up on time. Arrived intact and as expected. I do recommend ordering WITH the power cord installed. it's near impossible to take the old one out without damaging it and the time involved. Just order it with the power cord installed you'll be happy you did.

This InSinkErator CRD-00 Power Cord Kit is simple to install to the disposal unit - the unit is the InSinkErator Badger 5, 1/2HP. My thoughts are if you're going to go through the trouble of installing a new disposal it's probably best to just spend the extra 8-10 bucks to make sure you have this piece should you need it, and you likely won't know if you need it until you take off the old unit. By that time it would stink (pardon the pun and you'll know what I mean with you disconnect the old unit) to not have it available. Nevertheless, even if the old connector can be reused, I'd rather just replace with a new kit, especially since I've already done the heavy lifting by removing the old unit and prepping the new one. Wrote this about a year ago and just saw it wasn't submitted, so let me just update. It's still working great. Other than this preference thing or advice, I found this kit easy to install and it works great. At less than $10 bucks it is worth it for all the reasons listed above.

First of all just make sure this is the correct cord for the disposal you got. I went to the hardware store saw the brand name and got it only to realize I needed this cord instead of the EZconnector because they were out of the one I needed. It was 100% my fault on that one. The installation of this was very easy and the build quality is what you would expect. It fit perfectly fine but the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the cord doesn't come with the disposal. It was super annoying finding out that the garbage disposal I just got did not come with the cord to power it and I had to buy it separately with no mention on the product page of needing one. Maybe I over looked it but I mean COME ON the correct cord should come in the box waiting an extra 2 days was annoying.

I have to start by saying that I think disposals should come with a cord. Every other appliance I have comes with a cord already attached, and most of them are cheaper than my disposal! This was perfect for my Evergrind E202 Disposer. I watched a YouTube video that showed how to connect this. For someone with no electrical experience at all, that was a must. It made the instructions so much easier to understand. I'm afraid I would've messed something up otherwise. I found that the instructions are clear if you have any idea of what you're doing, but not so much if you don't.
