Kedera Men's Mesh Breathable Openwork Fishing Vest Photography Work Multi Pockets Outdoors Jacket

I was looking for a "fishing/photography" vest to wear during the hot days of summer so I purchased this vest because the main body is made up of a mesh with fairly large holes. It comes in red, green, black, and khaki colors. For summer wear, I ordered the lightest color which was khaki. It is made in China and was shipped to me directly from China by USPS. As is true of many product sold on Amazon, the vest is keyword named as "2016 Men's Mesh Breathable Openwork Fishing Vest Photography Work Multi Pockets Outdoors Jacket". I am not sure what 2016 has to do with the vest, but it is 2016 so I can't argue with the advertising in this case. However, the advertising copy does state and the product images do show the brand as Kedera. The vest I received was branded as Lie Se Zhe not Kedera. Of course, this may not make any difference since the product image does seem to match the vest I received. The advertising also states that it ships from and is sold by "BopStyle". I can't find any information on the company. I am guessing that it is a Chinese exporter. In any case, buyer beware. The care/materials tag is all in Chinese except for a "100%" on the materials side of the tag. Even though the material is advertised as "Cotton and Polyester", I am guessing that the tag says 100% polyester. It certainly has that slightly rough, slick feel of polyester. In my opinion, cotton vests are more comfortable to wear but polyester will dry out more quickly after a rain. So depending on your application, you may want to search Amazon for a cotton vest instead of this polyester vest.As I mentioned earlier, the main body of the vest is mesh with solid material on the shoulders. In addition, the back of the vest has a flap made of solid material that runs the width of the shoulders and the length of the back from the shoulders to the bottom hem. The flap can be unzipped and then rolled into a thin zippered pouch along the bottom of the back, leaving the inner mesh as the back of the vest...a nice feature for hot weather. It has plenty of pockets. I counted twelve zipper/velcro pockets on the outside front of the vest. In addition, the inside of the vest has two zippered mesh pockets (one on each side). As can be seen in the product image, there is a single plastic clip/hook attached on one side of the front along the shoulder hem and four "D" rings on the front for clip-on items. In conclusion, the vest appears to be well constructed with tight consistent seams. The zippers are good quality and zipped smoothly with no catches. However, the sizing runs small. I ordered an XXX-Large size which fits like an XL so you may want to order a couple of sizes up. On thing to note, the front of the vest is not zippered; instead, two sliding plastic clips hold the front closed. Overall, if you get the right size, this is a good quality vest. I would have preferred a zippered front closure so it was a four star buy for me.
