My daughter now knows more Russian than me! (I don’t know any 🤣)! All jokes aside she has been able to teach herself the alphabet and some words and sayings! She was 11 when I bought it for her!

Good Path for Beginners
This works very well for beginners, but it perhaps can be too basic in certain areas. For example, when it teaches you about case endings, it does not take into account spelling rules. Or, for example, with adjectives, it just says "it could be this, or it could be that" without telling you when it is and is not this or that way. However, there is a simple fix to this, get an English-Russian dictionary that should tell you more specifically or just use the internet.However, this is a good resource to show you what you should be learning, where you should start, what to expect. I would still recommend it.

Don't buy this expecting to learn a whole language from just one source.
this is my 3rd source of learning russian to point out tips on conjugation, grammar & pronunciations other sources don't mention. it definitely helps and has small russian to english dictionary at the end. very helpful to find out common words or phrases used in both languages.

Very good for basic Russian
I learned how to count from 1 all the way to 100 in Russian using this book lol. I have a notebook specifically for taking notes from this book, it has been super helpful. The goal is to reach fluency and although I can't say that I am there yet, this book has been helpful for basic Russian and increasing my basic knowledge of the language. Easy to follow along. I really enjoy the book, would recommend to anyone hoping to become more fluent in Russian.

Good study resource
I am studying Russian and needed something very basic to accompany our school text. This is very good and covers things your teacher may skip over or not spend much time on that you need help with. This is not a stand alone study guide but really helps. I recommend this for beginning Russian language students.

Learn the Russian alphabet first. It will help you a lot!!

Nice overall book
I got this to help my lessons as the grammar is slightly complicated. This book helps break it down in simple explanations and covers quite a lot for a starter book.Only annoying that some areas eg numbers, are not extended beyond 1-10 in relation to 1st/2nd/3rd etc ways of usage, ordinal, genitive etc are different so could’ve had a table for this then related it to the correct context.But a good overall book and covers quite a bit. Only bought to help with my lessons otherwise I’d probably go to YouTube as many videos on Russian that are really good. 🤘🏼

Awful, do NOT buy if you are a beginner!
I'm gonna be honest here, it's NOT a good book for beginners, it's far too complicated and doesnt simplify things, ive been learning russian for a year now and this is the worst book i've come across, far too inconsistent, go for a more simplistic book

Good book 📖 to remember russian language
Very good book 📖 for me to remember russian language as sometimes forget couple words 😉 as I learn russian language before this book helps me to remember, I have no idea for people who want learn this language from the start as first time🙊🙉🙈
