It's a light, it's incredibly bright, it uses less energy than one old incandescent light.For less than $20 I got this incredibly bright light and put it up over my front porch.Now, instead of the light of traffic at night annoying me, I annoy them!

These lights are a large improvement to the overall lighting in my garage. I wanted to lighten things up for many years but did not want to place several small lighting fixtures all about. Finally these Corn Bulbs came out and the price per bulb got to the point where they were a very affordable option without doing any additional wiring etc. in the garage. My garage is a regular 3 stall with 3 (r) type fixtures. I just unscrewed 60watt bulbs and replaced them with these. The Corn Bulbs are bigger, much brighter, and weigh much more than the old bulbs so make sure your fixtures are anchored with both proper screws before you put them in. Also in a garage they are protected by the ceiling/roof if your using these outside where wind could be a factor be careful. These bulbs provide bright light in a 360 degree area. They also have LEDs in the bottom to light the area directly beneath them. I am in MN so they work in the cold, unheated garage, and they start at the flip of the switch with no delay.

Bought one just to try it in my garage/shop. Made a real difference. Bought a second one for the shop, but lost it to my wife for her workshop. Just ordered and install two more in my shop. Highly recommend the lights. when I can add two more to my shop, I will be able to get rid of 10 fluorescent light fixtures.UPDATE: Now have a total of 7 of these lights. They work great! Lots of light. Will definitely order more as funds permit. Put one in my back porch light fixture. Will see how they hold up to weather. Need at least 8 more to get the light that I need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

I got this bulb for my son to see to do his homework at his desk.its very bright makes him able to see what he’s doing.i love the look of it in his room, it also saves on electricity well I need to get one for every room in my house so I can see everything. Super easy to install just lite a regular light bulb

I love this! I have a one car garage I use for refinishing furniture and my previous light just wasn't getting bright enough. This really lights up my garage and helps me see the fine details that can easily be overlooked with a regular light that isn't as bright!

This light is bright enough that there have been times I thought I left the garage door open. I've heard of concerns about heat with these lights so I checked it out with an infrared thermometer. This light came up at 120 F, which concerned me a bit as a standard LED light was only 105 F. But then I checked a 75 watt incandescent light which came up as 150 F so I think this light is safe.

The thing is HUGE... I measured the fixture it was going in to and I had enough depth but the circumference of it is massive... larger than a soda can. I missed being able to install it in its intended spot by 1/8".
