Very impressed!
After reading reviews of this type ice mold trays, I was concerned about which one to buy, and how it would perform. I took a chance with the Glacio and am very happy with its function and the ice cubes it produces. The square cube tray is very simple to fill but takes a bit more effort to remove the cubes. I tend to flex it and push from the bottom and it works fine. The round cube tray takes a bit of patience to set up to make sure the top and bottom are snug together, but when done with relative ease, the filling works like a charm. I tend to overfill the round mold becasue the fill holes are not very large but then pour out the overflow. I was concerned that the round mold would empty as I poured the excess water out, but was pleasantly surprised that the water stays inside the round molds! The round ice comes out very easily. I use purified water which seems to make the cubes more clear in appearance. Excellent product.

Seriously great trays!
Seriously, people, these are great ice cube trays! I think I read every review for these and other ice cube trays before buying these. Reviewers seem to have trouble making the spheres but no problem with the squares. After trying both squares and spheres with water and other liquids, let me set the record straight. These are great trays. They are made of a heavy duty material but are soft and pliable making it easy to remove frozen cubes. For the square tray, fill just as you would a regular tray. For the spheres I closed the upper and lower trays together securely, put in an 8 by 8 inch pan and then used a tiny funnel and measuring cup to fill each sphere. Then I stacked the square tray on top of the sphere tray and put in the freezer. In case you don’t get the sphere fully filled before freezing, you can top them off once the first fill is frozen. When fully frozen just remove the top of the sphere tray and empty. It worked great with water and also with a coconut milk cream I made for Thai coffee. The squares and spheres are a perfect size - not too big but not too small. In case you need a funnel, Amazon sells TecUnite 10 pack small metal funnels for around $8. I definitely suggest putting the trays in a rigid pan to freeze as this eliminates any spillage when moving the trays. I am definitely making these ice cubes/spheres ahead of time as it takes awhile to get a lot made. Enjoy!

Cheers!
Of these ice cube trays we tend to use the mold for creating 2-inch sized cubes much more frequently than that for the spheres. Use of said cube mold is easy, straightforward: we've found placing it in the freezer, then pouring in water from a measuring cup better than trying to carry the wiggly, wobbly mold from sink to appliance. Creating ice spheres? Oh, it can be done, but it takes patience, trial-and-error. Removing the cubes from the mold takes a bit of practice, but once they are broken in a bit this becomes easier. The 2-inch cubes are the right size for drinks served in a double rocks or old fashioned glass, producing ice that provides the right dilution.

Rectangle cubes are great. Round ones, not so much
The rectangular cubes are fine - no complaints there and if that's all you are interested in, you'll have made a good choice. The silicone molds work well and the frozen cubes are easily ejected, once frozen. The round ones are frustrating, plain and simple. First of all - they aren't really intended to be a sphere - based upon how the mold comes together, they come out just a bit oblong, they have an unrefined and jagged line around the diameter (where the top and bottom silicone molds come together), and the spherical molds are really difficult to not overfill. Second - when you do over-fill them, it's difficult to then get the frozen balls out without using your fingers. Third, the way the silcone molds join together, the molds don't lock together well, so it's easy to have three or more frozen balls that are not complete - as some of the water runs out of the mold before they freeze. Here are my final thoughts - when you drop a fully round sphere of ice in a glass of bourbon or whisky, you've made a statement. With these ice balls though, the statement you are making is probably not the one you've intended to make.... Unless, of course, you are aiming for an ice ball that looks a bit like it was circumcised. If that's your thing - then you might love this mold.

Quick easy ice cubes
These molds are easy to use and make nice ice cubes. They are not clear, at least not with our water. There are other systems to make clear ice. These are quick and easy. I like the round ice cubes because they fit in my "Bourbon Trail" glasses perfectly. The square cubes fit in larger doubles glasses. So, great options. I am a bit picky about my glassware. This is a re-order for me. Our hard water has built up enough that the seal for the round cubes is no longer secure. My fault, not the manufacturer. I guess I should dry them instead of allowing them to air dry after use. I like them enough to re-order. In reading the reviews, it is tricky to ensure the two sections of the round molds are tight. I push them together, then go around each round mold and push the edge seals together. Take the time, this works for me.

Bought this item with little expectation but was really impressed with the quality. I didn't realises that the sphere ice cube tray actually interlocks at the rings to create a water tight seal. The first attempt yielded ice spheres with rings as I did not use properly. Second attempt was perfect spheres. Press down on the rings to lock them in place! (you'll know what I mean when you buy the product)

Does exactly what it says, easy to fill and easy to remove the ice.

Great product that always surprises guests in a social gathering. The ice cubes add a uniqueness to the drink, but most importantly, melts very slowly and does not dilute the drink as regular ice. Great for martinis, mixed drinks etc...

This is my first Ice Cube & Sphere mould I got for this Christmas to try and make some cocktails. To get the standard size of an Ice cube is easy, just fill it up and leave it to freeze over night. The sphere one is a bit tricky when I first did it and it kinda worked and by that I mean when I pulled out the sphere and cracked to use one of the sphere, as soon as I poured liquid on it, the ice sphere cracked and that it because of how I filled it. I tried it the second time and it came out just right. All you need to do is, shut it all the way in with out any water, then lift one of the corners and pour water till you see it fill up on the corner that you're holding, turn it the other way around and repeat it. As soon as you're done doing that, there are small holes on the top, just take cake and fill it up till it overlaps and place it in the freezer and leave it over night, take it out of the freezer the very day or whenever you wanna use it, first crack it open, without trying to open up the lid and then use a bit of force to open up one of the corner, which actually comes off easily and you'll notice it looks perfect. It is one of the best ones and I would 100% recommend it and may even buy one ''hoping the owner would just send me a free one : -)''
