YH11062PCB Boost converter works as advertised
I used this little PCB to make a desktop 5 volt power bank to power electronic projects. A single A123 26650 LiFePO4 cell will suffice to run an arduino for several hours. As I am using LFP cells the supply voltage is always between 2.5 and 3.6 volts. The well matched cutoff for the YH11062PCB boost converter is is 2.6. volts never see the LED as green. The main control chip is a 500 KHz Feeling Technology FP6298.The two terminal points labeled “KEY” are for a single pole double throw switch that functions as an On/Off switch for the positive side of the incoming direct current power. As implemented in DaFuRui’s product offering this function has been superseded by a zero ohm resistor on the reverse side of the printed circuit board. If a On/Off switch is desired then this resistor can be removed and a appropriate switch installed (but it is probably more practical to install a switch ahead of the PCB). The missing surface mount diode is an option for reverse current protection (a trace would need to be cut).

Works perfectly
This one actually works for my projects. I’ve bought a couple of these booster chips to build a power bank for phones and have been disappointed in the other ones. It outputs 2 Amps for faster charging and doesn’t overheat. More expensive than others I’ve found but functionally much better. I did remove the led so it wouldn’t drain battery and it continues to work great!

Only one works!
One of the converters had too much of a solder glob on one of the fuses and made it hard to work with, now only one works for my project.... Don't buy these!

Fire Hazard
Had one die as soon as a load was applied and another catch fire when I applied power, before there was even a load on it. Not willing to tempt fate by trying either of the other two.

you CAN split them in 2
For those of you saying these are bad because its 1 pcb... please use your eyes, there is a perforation, you can split it in to 2 with a little force.

Perfect for small charging needs
Compact and well regulated - works all the way down to 5.5 volts on weak batteries. Very impressed.
