Mane 'n Tail and Body Shampoo, 32 Ounce

My girlfriend and I have two very different hair types. She is Asian ,so hers is very straight and thick . I am mixed with thick curly hair that I am locking. I try so hard to make sure our products are natural and healthy. I have a adrenal disorder that makes it hard to use store bought products. I make lotions, soap, hard products, etc, but THIS STUFF IS AWESOME . I used it a long time ago when i was a youngin and forgot how great it was. If you want an inexpensive but seemingly expensive product, this is what you should buy. My girlfriend is kinda a tomboy, and for her to actually ASK FOR a product (this conditioner ) speaks so highly of said product. It works in my hair beautifully as well. My hair loooooooooves moisturizers , and surprisingly my gf hair does as well. I made her a light hair lotion that worked well, but she needed more when it came to cleansing to get her hair to accept and utilize the nutrients fully that the rosemary lotion I made for her provides. Using mane and tail cleansing products completely changed the game for both her and I . Even before adding the lotion and blow drying ,her hair looks shiny and thicker. After blow drying her hair ,which is already the kind women pay (including me in the past) to sew into the hair, her hair is like a hair models'. It bounces, doesn't shed or tangle like it used to when brushed, and NO ITCHY SPOTS OR DRY SKIN !!! that'd be the best part. Other shampoos and conditioners contain ingredients that do not agree with our scalp and hair. We used Johnson & Johnson No tears, head and shoulders, dove, bath and body works , and a couple others much more expensive and with a whole lot of promises they didn't keep and that did not satisfy our needs at all. I hate that feeling from a shampoo that strips and a conditioner your hair rejects. So yucky. Thank goodness for this conditioner, and shampoo. I personally love how it spreads throughout my hair, with a true dollar coin sized amount. I hate when a conditioner doesn't spread well . Another pet peeve of mine is when you have to use a whole bunch more shampoo than conditioner because it doesn't cleanse well. With both of us using the shampoo, her- daily me -every 1-2 weeks, we have not used half as much as other conditioners or shampoos in the same amount of time and need. If you want to give your hair new vitality, make your pockets happy, and on top of all that smell delish, buy this.

This starts rough but hear me out!!! Ordered this product maybe 2 months ago and arrived COMPLETELY destroyed. It baffeled me as I had ordered it once before this and had no issues ... Customer service was quick to refund me (thank you!) I really love this shampoo because my pup can use it, too 😚 So! Yeah, with covid I wasn't able to get to a store, so I was willing to gamble again with another order ... They packed it SO well this time to ensure it's safe arrival that even I could barely get into it! Haha! Thanks guys! ☺ Happy is as happy does! P.S) I know a looooot of people buy this shampoo in hopes that it will help to either thicken their hair or help it grow longer ... Besides the typical "ohhh ya gotta take care of yaself inside out for hair health!" (cause that s*** is MOST important!!!) this shampoo I must say (based solely on personal opinion) definitely is less processed (still processed!) but way less and seems to leave much less residue if any at all. I've noticed less breakage and a seemingly fuller feel to my hair volume in the years I've used this. I use it every day (probably not the best but I haven't noticed anything negative from it!) and it always leaves my hair feeling CLEAN and STRONG.

I've used this shampoo since I was a little girl. My husband made fun of me because I use "horse shampoo" and I keep telling him that it's a southern thing (or so I hope lol) and i've always heard of humans using this shampoo-I was surprised that he never heard of the famous "Mane n' Tail shampoo". I have very long hair and it tends to get oily after one day of not washing it. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling extra clean; therefore, I'd definitely say that this product is a CLEANSING shampoo. It will work wonders if you use a lot of products and you just need an extra clean. However, I have to say that you need to condition your hair after using this because it will strip oils from your hair. About 2 weeks after using this, I always notice my hair is a lot healthier and stronger and it grows so fast! I've never had a problem with growing long hair, but this makes it longer and that is exactly what I want right now. The smell is good and I even use it as a body wash when I am in a hurry. TIPS FOR GROWING LONG HAIR: A lot of women do not know how to wash their hair properly....You should only put shampoo on your scalp and massage it in and rinse it- do not put it on your ends. The opposite is for conditioner. You should always put conditioner on your ends and not your scalp. This will prevent it from getting oily and it will keep your natural oils in tact, Etc. Also, do not wash your hair everyday- I only wash mine about 3 times a week. I also use a weekly coconut oil treatment in order to make my hair shiny and healthy.Also, don't forget your biotin or hair, skin, and nail vitamins !

This shampoo has been my favorite for decades. It makes the perfect shower companion that does hair and body in a globally responsible sense. Furthermore, without going on about scent, blah blah it feels lovely and gives hair what it needs along with shine. Complicated doesn't always mean best. This is best.

It makes your hair like silk! But you must use it in the correct way. Use shampoo twice a week and you will see the changes after a month. It naturally makes your hair dry. This is how shampoo always is, so I recommend using Elvive serum with it. How to use the serum: Use it after showering when you have dried your hair, but your hair must be damp. Thank you
